I think the writing is on the wall with Bryce and you can tell by the play calling. Canales does not trust Bryce. We ride the running backs or die. Funny Bryce showed promise at the end of the season last year. But he somehow quickly loses confidence and goes Back to the same mentality of not wanting to make mistakes. Then he makes them. They have to bring in a vet next season and draft a WB in the mid rounds.

Gonna crack down on his starting left tackle and best defensive rookie? Canales is cooked. -
Young tbh. Richardson straight up does not care about learning or playing football. He does not watch film. He doesn’t hang out with any of the players on the team and just has his entourage around at all times. This was true at UF and is true now in the nfl. And he had really good coaching and players at UF. dude will be out of the league in a few years and probably going to lose a toe to diabetes before thirty or something.

For the record Trey lance was third string in Dallas behind cooper rush. dude fuging sucks.
-
Answer honestly. Would you rather have Young or Richardson?

ESPN's Benjamin Solak on Panthers QB situation
electro's horse replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
He’d have retired on the flight to Carolina. -
No but we could have had him if tepper wasn't poison. At the time (not now because Goff has been great) the Panthers offered a better trade package but Stafford said fug that noise and the Lions respected him enough to not send him to this hell hole.
-
You trade him because he’s valuable. You cannot trade Purdy because of his contract. Kinda stuck in a bad spot in San Fran. 49ers will want picks and probably high ones. Like a 2 and 3 or something. And whomever trades for Mac jones will have to give him a new contract. Something like bridgewater got from the panthers. Bryce is an add on. No one is going to trade a guy who’s shown he can start and perform well in the nfl (jones) for someone the panthers clearly aren’t going to keep around, if they’re trading for a qb. There’s no world where the panthers trade for someone like Mac jones and keep Bryce around. We saw how well that worked with darnold and baker adding more fun to this, when the 49ers drafted lance, that was not the qb shanahan wanted; that qb was mac jones. anyway I think the trade would probably be 2nd and 3rd, or maybe a first round swap plus a third. Then new contract for Mac jones. Bryce is an afterthought.

They were also asked to do it because in the book they talk about how they overcame their martial struggles by talking about their own at their church’s martial retreats. -

This Bryce Guy (General BY Discussion)

Barnwell is espn’s stalking horse. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/46942577/2026-nfl-offseason-quarterback-trades-cuts-retirements-murray-tagovailoa-fields Evaluation time might be up The end of Year 3 is a critical time for first-round picks at quarterback, as their organizations will need to decide whether they want to guarantee their fifth-year options before the start of the following season. The class of 2023 has two obvious choices, as the Texans are going to pick up C.J. Stroud's option, while the Colts will decline that same opportunity for Anthony Richardson Sr. The third might still be up in the air. Bryce Young, Carolina Panthers 2026 cash: $5.9 million (all guaranteed) Future guarantees: None (potential fifth-year option for 2027) Savings if traded before June 1: $5.9 million in cap and cash Savings if cut before mid-March: None Young's promising end to 2024 hasn't led to a step forward in 2025. Young's sack rate is down, and his success rate as a passer is up, which are both positives. But his interception rate has risen for the second consecutive season. The 2023 No. 1 pick is averaging just 5.6 yards per attempt, the worst mark in the league for any full-season starter. Offensive line injuries haven't helped, but Young has only sevendeep completions all season, forcing the Panthers to either rely on big runs by Rico Dowdle or dink-and-dunk down the field with their passing attack. Young has the fourth-worst off-target rate in the NFL on passes that aren't deep attempts, though, making it difficult for Carolina to sustain drives with steady completions. After the season, the Panthers will need to decide whether they want to pick up Young's roughly $25.6 million fifth-year option for 2027, which will become fully guaranteed in the process. While that's not an exorbitant sum for a quarterback, I'm not sure Young's play would support that choice. If Carolina does decide to pick up the option, he will have a meaningful role on the 2026 roster, either as the unquestioned starter or at least as the favorite to win the job. If Carolina declines the option, Young's future probably will be elsewhere. He might be given a fourth year to prove himself and play well enough to earn an extension, as Daniel Jones did after the Giants declined his fifth-year option in New York, but the coach and general manager who paid so much to acquire Young in the first place aren't in the building anymore. The Panthers could trade Young to another team, bring in a new starting QB and move Young into a backup role, or (most likely) acquire someone to compete with Young in training camp next summer. - Today

In today's news, an adult site has offered Matt $300,000 to show it all off. Everybody has a price, the rest is negotiation https://www.mercurynews.com/2025/11/12/nfl-matt-kalil-camsoda-offer-ex-wife-penis-size/

This is me. We used to have rituals in the house, family and friends wearing swag, cooking out, even in the down years. Now we watch every game mostly alone. Maybe a family member or two come over but thats got more to do with they know what Im making for dinner. The wins just are not as sweet and you become numb to the losing.

Young throws interceptions and fumbles almost every damn game, over and over again.

Played a poor game all around. Miller was atrocious. Aho was just as bad. Other than Ehlers and Freddie, team was cheeks. let’s get one back as big home favorites.

I am pretty such the book is about his struggles. Also his wife would have known about the book and okayed it. It isn’t like he just wrote the book and then told his wife and that is how she found out. No offense man but this is a dumb take. Nothing cuck about it. -
That's why I want to bring in a good/solid veteran backup and either a bust QB like Lance/Wilson/Howell/etc or a rookie QB. Get some options and see what happens.

Anyone that writes a damn book apologizing for doing drugs and cheating on your wife is a cuck. Why not handle that poo personally and not broadcast it to the world? -
Signing an old retread to be the starter is about as uninspiring as watching paint dry. You have a true QB competition and let the chips fall where they may.
