  1. Past hour
  2. Yeah, having turnover issues while still putting up numbers is one thing but to have all that talent and still be absolutely stuck in the mud is just something entirely different. All that talent and worse production that Bryce. That's crazy.
  3. I could see acquiring Jones as a backup / stopgap. Not so sure that deal involves a straight swap for Bryce, unless Morgan somehow makes a phenomenal sales pitch. Trading low round picks for him seems like a more likely scenario.
  4. And we thought enough of Bryce Young to give up pretty close to that. I'm not in favor of fixing our mistake by turning to someone that's available because someone else made the same mistake we did
  5. I without question, without equivocation, vehemently disagree. I don't need to see an infinitely more talented player perform substantially worse than Bryce. That's a goddamn nightmare.
  6. Yes, he has. He can't grasp the pro game. It was never gonna happen.
  7. This is exactly what I mean. There is no excuse for him to be this insanely bad. That isn't a better scenario.
  8. Yeah and that's great for them but you also need to realize that we are literally a worse version of that now.
  9. Oh I don't want him here. I'd just rather watch his brand of football than Bryce's. I'd rather watch a competent QB over either.
  10. And it ain't like he doesn't have talent and measurables. He has both. He just seems to be wasting them
  11. I get that. Winning cures all, and shitty play is hard to watch. What I find difficult is he never feels like a threat - anything he does down field feels astonishing. When I watch Fields I find him frustrating because of how ineffective he can be but there are moments I just know he can break out a huge run or deliver an on target bomb 30 yards down field.
  12. And I am sure that we have a few old triple option fans here but that's not the NFL nor does it work, as he has proved at every single stop in the NFL. He is a poor man's The Golden Calf of Bristol.
  13. Good work... Mentioned above, my current lean is toward Bryce being the problem. And it takes me back to the issues we had when Mike Shula was OC. He had on something for the 2015 season (basically heavy run focus including the QB) which is great, but simply coming up with something that works isn't enough in the NFL chess game. If you're truly a chessmaster, you know what to do when somebody finds a way to stop it. Hell, some guys even anticipate those adjustments and plan for them. Shula had no idea how to respond. Last game, Bryce didn't either. So now the big question is what happens next game
  14. I think everyone in the NFL would be shocked to see them be that insanely stupid.
  15. I am here to tell you, it can 100% get worse so that's not a smart thing to say or put on us as a franchise. Think about how many times during the Tepper era that phrase was uttered about ao many aspects of this team. Tepper finds a way.
  16. I agree. They should figure out how to dump that Purdy contract. Im not sure how they could tho. That window is closed, if they couldn't win a SB with a cheap Purdy they sure aren't winning one with a ridiculously expensive Purdy.
  17. Oh I would trade Jones if I was SF. He is valuable. Very at that contract price. Yeah but I don't think they would want Bryce, he isn't cheap at all for a 3rd string QB. Plus, is Mac Jones really worth a 2nd/3rd to us and THEN have to pay this MFer out the ass? TBH, I wouldn't want that. It's a waste of valuable draft capital for a very middling QB that is likely to now want more than he is worth by a significant margin.
  18. XL had no NFL future before his super senior season. He scored a pretty nice payday off getting picked in the 1st round. Even if its the last pick. I don't think he cared at all what happened after that point.
  19. Not at all. The ideal type of QB for the WCO could be described as a... ... point guard Argument basically boils down to saying that the problem is not with system fit. It's either play calling or execution, and the more I think about it the more I lean toward the latter.
  20. If you're not giving it your all In your current situation, why should I trust you to give your best efforts in a different one?
  21. That's the thing... He's still living off his college reputation because his NFL rep isn't anything special.
  22. Low key Daniel Jones still the same, Jonathan Taylor is the reason that offense is excellent. Darnold and Baker though, lights out.
  23. Maybe for one game. I've seen this movie. It doesn't end with us winning.
