I don't absolve Canales. He benched Bryce last year but now all of a sudden he can't? Doesn't make sense. He is as guilty as the rest.

I think he's trending for a good culture but he tries to be cute with the game planning, and it is costing us games.

Offenses ball at the 1. Pretty much what happens everywhere else on the field when the ball is fumbled out of bounds. The ball is given to the possessing team at the spot of the fumble.

I think Fitterer was ultimately fired over Frank and other mistakes…. all the other Bryce people are still here. Morgan. Caldwell. And both those dudes have more sway than Canales

We're home that's about it. It would have to be a perfect day. I just don't see it. Then again Young has a game that wants us to run him out of town and the next game he does something to make you think. I don't see it.

Only way the Panthers win is if the Rams pull a Packers and don’t take the Panthers seriously. Panthers have too many backups playing on defense and do not have enough firepower on offense to score points.

What NFL level coach would come to Carolina to take over this team knowing Bryce is still the QB? The new HC would have to promised he could pick his own QB….however there is a recent Panthers history of that promise not being fulfilled and that HC was fired after 10-games. i also think the interest in this job would be limited due to Tepper . i would rather stick with Canales and get a new QB then bring in a new HC and have the same QB.

Canales has done a great job, especially with the “team culture” considering the handicap at QB. Bryce is a coach killer, and I confidently believe that when we get a decent QB this team will be in a good place. As an OC, yea Canales has some faults. I think he’s one of those types that are a better HC than coordinator. But still being able to wring water out of the stone that is Bryce Young had been a miracle in and of itself.

I can't say that I agree with the "can't fire him because he's mediocre." He has actually largely been more bad than mediocre. But, you are spot on with the job being even less attractive than it was before. Most candidates are going to turn down interviews with us even without that move. With another head coach being canned, you are probably basically stuck dumpster diving even deeper than when got you Dave Canales.

Honestly, same script as usual. Effective ball control offense and get pressure on Stafford early and often. If you can't do both, it's gonna be a long day.

I look at it like this. Canales made his reputation as being responsible for the development of WRs and QBs prior to getting here. Supposedly that's why he was hired. After 2 season's the overwhelming evidence indicates that his reputation is in fact all bull. Those 2 positions have turned out to be the weakest links on the offense. Now I understand he cannot make Young an nfl qb but he is in part responsible for the depth chart and in game decisions. But I do blame him for the lack of development and depth of the receivers. Overall I think that Dan would be better suited cutting his buddy Dave lose and finding a better coach and let that guy find his qb. Or else he will go down with Dave.

If their team bus gets lost

It's one of the biggest reasons I don't buy the tired "they've changed!" narratives about Tepper, Morgan or Canales. Well....none of them have appeared to change enough to move on at QB. In fact, when it basically came down to Bryce versus our last head coach(I do realize it wasn't Bryce himself involved in any of this), Tepper not only swiftly fired Frank Reich but he immediately insulted him at the press conference where he fired him. You don't get to be a laughingstock accidentally. It takes a lot of hard work and the Tepper Panthers have worked tirelessly to fug this up so badly.

They can't and they won't.

Fields is actually worse to watch, hence why I consistently don't want anything to do with AR. Fields is way worse BECAUSE he has every physical advantage imaginable. That's what makes him infinitely more frustrating. At some level, it is easier to understand why Bryce sucks. He isn't physically gifted in any way. It's his gross lack of fundamentals and field generalship which is so infuriating.

Lock them inside their hotel rooms.

The real crazy part about Bryce…..is to be as bad as he is for as long as he has been…..and still have the support he does. Not just fans but the media still giving this org a pass on the absurdity at this point (but it probably is tied to what a joke this org has been and therefore really stupid doesn’t stand out like it should)

One of the best defenses and offenses in the league. Where is Carolina better? How can David defeat Goliath? I been mathin all day and the numbers add up to the Rams blowing out the Panthers. Weird thing is, I have this crazy feeling we pull out a W.

I agree 100%. You fire Dalton, bring in a vet to start, and let Bryce be the backup for the last year of his deal. If Dave does not make us into a competitor by the end of year 3, send him and Morgan packing.

The entire team is essentially better in year 2……Bryce is just the same bad QB he had always been. I don’t like Canales O. Didn’t when we hired him. Still don’t like it. But the team is trending better outside of Bryce and how he limits it all.

I will always watch. I just want to see a healthy Dalton and a different version of QB sucking. At least give me some QB suckage variety.
