  1. Past hour
  2. Panthers go 2-2 in the last 4 games wining once against the Bucs and beating the Saints........ Bucs other than one lost to Carolina will win their other 3 games..................at the end of the regular season Panthers will be on the outside looking in at the playoffs. That's just wonderful.......just good enough to keep the current situation for another 10 years of "wait until next year" banter.........
  3. After seeing us play this year I believe we can beat anybody, but I also feel that we can lose to anybody. I wouldn't be shocked if we lost to Saints then go on to win out and win a home playoff game. Getting swept by the 2 win saints and winning the division would be so on par for how this season has felt.
  4. This is the best use of him. He'll get open inevitably when defenses crowd the box on Bryce.
  5. The Bucs have 4 games out of their last 5 being division rivals and the 5th being against a Miami team that's a in state rival who's been on a hot streak lately winning 4 out of their last 5 games. As we all know you can throw the record of each team out the window when it comes to division games. I wouldn't be shocked to see Tampa lose to at least one or if not both the Saints and the Falcons.
  6. Damn. This feels a lot like the Wilks year all of a sudden. I know we didn’t have to sweep them, but everything hinging on what we do against Tampa. Sigh…
  7. Today
  8. If you look at it with context, the fact that Tmac is putting up those numbers on a wildly inconsistent offense like the Panthers with a QB that throws for sub 200 most of his games, is probably way more impressive than Ebuka balling with Baker launching poo down the field constantly on a team that's won the division multiple years in a row. I think it's going to come down to how he finishes up the year, Tmac and Ebuka go head to head twice in the last 3 weeks of the season. That will settle who wins most likely. Especially if we win the games against Tampa. Conversely if Tampa sweeps us and Tmac has poor stats, Ebuka could win.
  9. He's fast so .. uhh... send him deep every play to drag off defenders, to open things up for TMac and Coker. Don't do anything stupid and actually pass him the ball though.
  10. Exactly!! Modern day Larry Fitzgerald!!
  11. He just did haul in an almost identical ball a couple weeks ago. Throw it to the right place he probably catches it. Btw, Tet has something like 6 drops and isn’t catching any flak for it. And I’m not saying he should but going by the hyper critical nature of many posters, that is a little telling. So I look it up… Tet has something like 98 targets. I just closed the link but from memory. 6 drops. Legette has 53 targets and 2 drops. Math says Legette’s drop rate is lower than Tet’s. The more you know. Spare me the cracks about feet in bounds, all that stuff. He wasn’t on the sideline.
  12. That is largely based on how difficult it is to sweep a division home and away matchup. Because we probably would have to do that. Doubt we’d be favored in either one.
  13. He is already good with a very limited offense and QB. I think he deserves the award (so far) and further, think he has a great mentality and attitude. He isn’t a diva, at all that I see. He was a great pick.
  14. People pull for the team on game days. That is the truth. Bryce part of the team. It doesn’t fit the stans narrative of rooting against because of Bryce but it’s the truth. And we do it knowing that any success will be blown up into ‘dots’ and big time throws and all the hype. The day after a win it starts to sink in that now we might have to see the team pay 40 or 50 million a season for what we have watched this year. And when you clinically look at that, it isn’t smart. It isn’t uplifting.
  15. By no means do I think he's Jefferson quality but he is putting up 31% of our passing yards, which is only 2% less than Jefferson did his rookie year for the Vikings. And he's got 6 of our 19 passing TDs (vs 7 of 35 over a full year). I don't think he's quite that good but I'd love to see him with consistent competent QB play.
  16. I think it's time for the Huddle to chill out and pull for the kid , until we're out of playoff contention. He isn't going anywhere this year so we need him to get us to a place we haven't been in quiet a while. That's coming from the biggest Bryce hater on this site.
  17. Basically HAVE to sweep the Bucs, no way around that. Then win one of the other two and you're in. Assuming we beat the Saints, the Seahawks game is largely irrelevant.
  18. They hold the division record tiebreaker, I think. Maybe it is conference, but they hold it. We would need to sweep them to hope to take that out of play in case of a tie record wise. So there is your basis for those odds.
  19. Need a time out? People get tired of the glaze. We see the throws. I am sure we cheered them. Then we see them get characterized like plain looking women that think they are 10s. There is nothing wrong with a good solid 7. Let it be a 7. You don’t have to try and make it into a 10. With the dots. It is like when guys say Bryce can’t throw over 5 yards. Same poo in the opposite direction. As far as touch and timing passes they were excellent throws.
  20. Was looking at a Bill Barnwell article on it earlier and the FPI has Tampa with a 70.2 % chance to win the division and us at 20.8%. I do feel better knowing if we can get to 10 wins, and maybe even 9 depending on what happens above us, we hold tiebreakers over 3 of those teams - and that’s not even knowing what Tampa will do outside of our games, but I hope they have a meltdown.
  21. I really think he envisioned being able to help their rookie quarterback similar to his rapport with Bryce. That and the fact his wife wanted to go home. I get it, but his ship has sailed in Carolina. We also have David Moore elgible to come off of injured reserve Dec 14th.
  22. I don't know why Thielen would do this. It's the last month of your last year. Just show up for the next few Vikings games and call it a career. Like if you wanted to ring chase, should have signed with the Chiefs a few years back.
  23. It honestly comes down to who wins the NFCS imo
  24. Moton’s lol. I am not thinking so, or at least nobody jumps out. Big deals. There are always guys that the deals were structured to get out of but who that we have signed for a lot, that we do not want to keep? DB and Horn on defense? Chuba? Hunt? Whatever we are paying Corbett might be too much. Maybe in another year. Haven’t really looked.
  25. It's not rookie Chase or Jefferson numbers but it's typical best rookie WR numbers.
  26. we said we wanna play meaningful football in December well we going to get the chance, because we are going to have to sweep the Bucs and beat new Orleans
  27. Do we have any big contracts that will be falling off the books anytime soon?
