  1. Past hour
  2. Tucker Kraft with 7 TDS today. Panthers win a close one off the back of Rico’s 300 yards. Panthers 52 packs 49
  3. Not too certain of predicting a score but pretty certain of the outcome
  4. I’m finishing the red eye back from Baltimore after spending the weekend seeing Billy strings. I am so goddamn hung over I’m cancelling meetings I had scheduled for Monday. If Carolina could just get blown out as quickly and painlessly as possible so I can be asleep by 230 I’d appreciate it
  5. Double team/chip Parson's. Run Rico down their throat. We have a chance.
  6. Except that we have already invested in Chuba. Rico would be additional investment. Its not an either or situation. If we trade Hubbard, we would likely have a lot of dead money/cap space used up. At least for next year anyway.
  7. Zavala was really bad his first year but I think he can still flash that unfortunately. Coaching? IDK. Inconvenience seems to be common. Moton should just have played the year out to see what's what or they should have replaced him, whixh is a tall order for a team with so much else needing done. I just thought the reworked deal was dumb. Get cap but create another issue later. Just eat it and move on. I do think they were trying to create space for someone else but that's also a huge negative for me because the 'one player away mentality' has always been a failure that I can remember. Corbett was a known health issue, a waste of roster space really. BC has had a fractured ankle and a torn bicep so he isn't a huge shocker either, unlucky or injury prone at this point? Add in Moton and that unit was always suspect. Having both high priced OGs dealing with injuries 1 year removed from their big deals just seems like the chefs kiss to that entire build. So 2 known injury issues with starters, a backup that's probably injury prone now, Mays and then nobodies. I don't think I can call that decent depth, especially considering the 2 known starter issues coming into the year.
  8. Just imagine how great it will be when they eventually expand the playoff to 24 teams, or more. There will still only be 3 or 4 teams that have a real chance of winning the national championship, but the money-making opportunity will be too irresistible.
  9. Trading Hubbard should be a decision made based on the "future" of the team. If they deem Rico a wiser investment, long term, Hubbard is expendable. If they deem Hubbard the wiser investment, long term, Rico is expendable. That doesn't mean they should have a price that is less than acceptable, however.
  10. Technically this was the correct move for survival. College football greed did ultimately ruin all of college athletics in the end. But, it was harder to predict that it would be this bad in the 1990's and 2000's. The Big Ten is now attempting to put the final nail in college sports with this private equity "investment."
  11. There is no way we should trade Hubbard without have a deal in place with Rico. Last thing we need to do is get rid of a good running back for draft pick(s) without having our #1 RB in place for several years.
  12. I slept on it, I thought about it and with Bryce back, I think it changes everything. Packers 47, Panthers 17
  13. Today
  14. We'll win 1 or two more games this year This won't be one of them
  15. It’s hard to imagine a set of scenarios where the Panthers best the Packers at Lambeau. I can’t stretch my imagination that far. It’s fair to both teams to expect a Packers victory. We haven’t gotten a lot of dumb luck this season. At some point or another a team is going to turn the ball over twice in the first half and let us get a 21-3 lead (it may not be this season). Where are the inexplicable fumbles in our favor? That’s the only way I can imagine the Panthers winning this game. By some stroke of dumb luck the Packers implode and we somehow jump out to a big enough early lead that they abandon the run and become one dimensional. Even then we might need a defense or special teams score. We are who we thought we were… Car 3 3 7 3 16 GB 7 10 7 3 27
  16. How many years has Miami been unable to win the ACC? 22? Wake has been better. What a flop that was.
  17. Lightning does strike twice, but I don't think it will here.
  18. We're gonna lose..... but play well. Think of the Eagles game last year, similar performance.
  19. That packers defense was absolutely horrendous. They’re obviously much better now.
  20. I can only hope the Packers play that soft zone 4 man rush the entire game like they did last year...
  21. Mendoza with another quiet, but effective road win. Not eye-popping stats, but he did enough to run up the score and chill from the sidelines most of the 4th quarter again. He's getting a little full of himself. He had one pick for the game and it was a WR screen to the wide side of the field from the opposite hash. Like c'mon bro, you got a good arm, but that's a dangerous throw for someone with a cannon. Lucky for him it wasn't a pick six; it nearly was.
