Playoffs!? You wanna talk about playoffs!?

And an ankle, and oblique, and wrist I think. -
2003 playoff Rams. I knew they’d beat the Eagles after that performance but to take down the greatest show on turf in their house?

Downside to that, is if we do beat Seattle we may not need to beat them a 2nd time. Depending on how they do up to that point. -
Bryce "hate" would be substantially less on this site.....if Bryce Young gaslighting and hype wasn't what it was. I'm one of the biggest haters on this site. Am I making anti-Bryce threads? No, I'm largely just responding to folks saying we need to pick up his 5th year and fug this franchise, gaslighting of his deep passing ability, the pinning of some tremendous team wins around Bryce's neck when he is merely a role player, and on and on. If people acted like he was the Brenton Bersin of QBs than the haters wouldn't be talking much about him. But every day, we wake up to folks saying the worst QB in the NFL over the last 3 years with really whack physical tools is X, Y, and Z.

I’m a reformed Ickey knocker. He is a legit franchise LT. He will demand, and receive whatever he wants from somebody. He is a road grader and has really upped his game in pass protection. The potential is there to be even better than prime Gross. There will be no discount and there will be gnashing of teeth when the numbers are published, but he knows his value.

coffee started following Most Surprising Win Ever?
-
I was watching a reel of fans singing Sweet Caroline and I started wondering if this was the most shocking surprise victory we've ever had. I thought of one other game that was in that category but I'll wait to see what you have to say on the matter. Where do you feel this one comes in a list of our most surprising upsets?

What teams don't pay the suckage tax? I feel like everyone "overpays" for everyone. Do you think Brown and Horn would have gotten less in the open market?

There’s a path if we split with Tampa but will need some help from Miami, New Orleans, and Atlanta. Mainly, the last two. Sweeping Tampa is the easiest way. If they lose to New Orleans this week or Atlanta next week and we win after the bye, it changes a lot. So find a New Orleans jersey for Sunday, burn it before next Sunday and then find an Atlanta jersey for the next week. -
Im always amazed at these conversations still in 2025. The math is always simple. Mid 20's player + top 15 in their position = new record setting contract. Its literally that simple.
-
that doesnt matter
-
Seeing as how we have paid stupid contracts to the likes of Matt Kalil in the past, I have no problem giving Icky his contract he has earned
-
Hell, "average at best," in pass pro is a low key bashing. Hell, he still can't get recognition for being average for arguably the most important part of his job.

recovery is largely pure luck and how the ball bounces. Putting the ball on the ground at a high rate is a bad thing. Maybe QB A fumbles 10 times a year and QB B fumbles 3 times a year. QB B loses all 3 of his. QB A somehow has 8 of his recovered in a quirky year. QB A is still the bigger risk/red flag going forward. and again, Bryce has a high fumble rate.......and isn't holding the ball looking for big pass plays, willingly putting his body in play, carrying a large load on his shoulders, or big yardage producer. It's one of his clear negative qualities. Just a reality. At this rate, the Bryce squad is going to start arguing him being tiny is actually an advantage lol. and imagine if we play magical cherry picks with other players. Take the last 17 games. That would make sense. Season worth of games. Bryce has 6 fumbles lost vs CJ's 1 fumble lost. CJ while doing that, is carry a bigger load on his shoulders as well.

Next year we play Lions, Tigers, and Bears (and Ravens) at home... along with NFC WEST and AFC WEST. Our away games will be vs the Browns, Packers, Vikings, Steelers, and NFC East GOOD NEWS (unless we get a Europe game, which isn't out of the question) is that our away travel schedule is fairly close to home. None of our away games are past the Central timezone. I'd be surprised if we were scheduled to *host* a home match in Germany until 2028 based on rotation. Based on today's standings, we would play the Chargers and Seahawks at home, and Cowboys away. -
He threw one just like the two yesterday to XL a couple three weeks ago. Caught it in the EZ so no YAC but there would have been in the right part of the field. A lot of it is the protection has been very good.
-
Please do not rush him back if he is not completely healthy. Don't need him screwing up his biceps again and missing games next year also... That being said, would definitely be nice having him back at RG. Although I do think Curhen has been pretty solid and was a good find off of the Cardinal's practice squad

Bryce has lost 6 fumbles, not 11, which is only 2 more than CJ Stroud.

McMillan is the 7th overall receiver in the NFL right now. Not rookie, but all of the NFL right now. This fact should not be undervalued or downplayed. He is in front of Jefferson (albeit with 3 more snaps) and behind Chase (albeit with 13 less snaps). He's right there with them, and that's notwithstanding the Panthers situation, and notwithstanding that he is a rookie. I say, "He is in their stratosphere," and I ain't stuttering. We have a real one, regardless of who doesn't realize it.
-
As far as I'm concerned, they both have comfortably lived up to those contracts so far.

Doubtful. Falcons without Penix and London are very bad, and the Saints are very bad. Since the Cardinals didn't pull off the upset, the Dolphins are the only team with a chance of upsetting them. At the end of the day, we will have to sweep Tampa twice because they will have the better division record otherwise because of our shitting the bed against the Saints -
I'm not even sure this is a debate. He's turned himself into one of the top LT's in football. Can't let him walk this early. His first 3 years, I thought he was a bust, so kudos to him for growing mentally, and physically. I'd call him a cornerstone of the franchise at this point. I anticipate having to take a RT replacement in a draft pretty soon.

Alaric Jackson and Ronnie Stanley got extensions recently at relative bargains, which should help in negotiations. Between that, the 5th year being a relative bargain plus the option to tag puts us in reasonable negotiating position. With cap rises, it will still require roughly top 10 money, but I don't see him coming close to resetting the tackle market.

We weren’t supposed to be winning the division and were picked last and third by just about everyone. Including the rational people here. We still have a chance at the division in December and will almost certainly finish second at worst. I am not unhappy about it. I will be unhappy with a 2nd place schedule next year. -

Beat the Saints, beat Tampa at home, rest the starters against Seattle and try to be as healthy as possible for week 18 (only if we have the same record as Tampa), beat Tampa again week 18. -
