I mean, we talking the Panthers current starting QB vs 3rd stringers on horrible teams? Ok. Give Bryce the win there.
-
Losing out on Milton Williams hurt us and it’s showing. We put that money towards Turk and Bobby Brown and they both are underperforming. It may just be a scheme issue with Turk, he thrived in the 4-3, but not so much in 3-4. Bobby brown just seems like an expensive backup who’s only good against the run.

Yeah, Mahomes' stat line in that last game looks atrocious but if you wanted the game a lot of those incompletions were just flat out drops including the game losing INT. That was one of the worst performances of catching the football I've ever watched at the NFL level and I watched Ted Ginn Jr. for years.
-
I think they would simply because Geno is ass, he's aging and clearly not the long term answer while Bryce is younger so hell why not give it a shot. Not saying I'd necessarily expect Bryce to be any better in that situation.
-
Agreed. Lol
-
I don't think the Raiders actually would. Geno has been bad but we have seen how terrible Bryce is with bad pressure issues. Bryce would actually be a downgrade in terms of ball security there. It's possible, though.
-
I'd add the possibility of the Raiders. Literally zero chance the Saints would swap Shough for Bryce and if they would I'd leave Bryce in N.O. on Sunday.
-
He's also 26 so he has more general game experience than a lot of rookies.
-
Rookies often come out hot and then they struggle once more tape is out on them. Let's see what this kids does the rest of the year and next year. I'm no NFL scout, but he does seem to be calm and in control of the offense which is a big deal for a rookie.
-
Tyrod is currently injured, though.

I understand that the Panthers likely want to be very conservative with his recovery, but it is concerning that Brooks isn't doing full speed cuts after a year. There is no rhyme or reason why some players get hurt all the time while others don't. Also, some guys come back from injury with zero side effects and others are never the same. I'm pulling for him, but this doesn't seem like a Thomas Davis kind of ending. -

Bryce youngs first year stats 2877 yards 11td 10 ints 5.2ypa 11fumbles With the eye test I think all of them looked better than byoung, looking at first few starts. Panthers have stuck by byoung for 3 years even though its debatable whether they should or not. I think all of them have had moments where they looked just as good as young has, young has had alot more chances to show his moments. If you look at the entire stats of them they are not as good as youngs entire 3 years. Do I want any of them to start for the panthers not at all. Young sucks and they suck. Hopefully young proves me wrong and I eat my words as the panthers go deep into the playoffs. -
Is this the best timed ‘bye’ we’ve ever had

And as a Hubbard owner my season was shot anyways. By the time he started to come back my season's over. -
When Canales says things like this it's typically not very close

I hope we don't rush him back, even in the middle of a playoff push. Not worth losing him for next season too. -
Every single team. Maybe not the Bills. MAYBE

Actually the other poster was referencing last season when Rico played for Dallas, he referenced a 49ers game where they held him check as evidence of him slowing down towards the end of last season, but that 49ers game was sandwiched between 2 previous monsters games against Cincinnati and the Panthers and followed by another monster gane against the Eagles. So I just didn't see the evidence of him slowing down. Bottomline we need rushed 40 times against the Rams regarded as the best team in the league and eclipsed 164 yards. We're not capable of beating teams in the air consistently we need a dominant run game not mediocre, not just ok, but a dominant one that keep our defense rested and allows us to take shots in the passing game.

People keep throwing money at the AI growth situation in hopes it will speed things up, get them to the finish line first. And it just doesn't completely work that way. Money helps, but there's a whole supply line issue and programming issue. The problem really is that we create too many business degrees and not enough degrees in the fields that actually make things work. It's ruining a lot of stuff. And yeah, it's going to be a while before anyone can upgrade their stuff. And if you're a gamer... maybe it's time to develop a love for retro systems.

To win a game tomorrow? Or factoring in looking beyond the now. so if I’m the Jets, I view Tyrod as better than Bryce to win a game tomorrow. But if you are looking at anything besides that, no reason not to play over Taylor just to see if Bryce looked different away and if you thought you could do what all teams think they can do with other people’s QBs

College football has zero ability to work together, they are too busy trying actively to rip each others throats out and destroy each others programs. They even do it inside their own conferences, especially the biggest conferences. It's why they are ultimately doomed.
-
I don't care that they're sitting out the bowl game. Yeah, I'm gonna make fun of them for it but I honestly don't care. What I care about is all the special status treatment they get from everyone from the CFP to the ACC to the media. fug all of that. Just treat them like every other team in the country and if they don't like it then tell them to go fug off. The rest of college football holds way more power combined than ND, it's not even close but they act like ND holds the cards. If the rest of college football told them to fug off and stopped scheduling them it would cause minimal overall drop off to college football as a whole while ND football would die very quickly. What are they gonna do, play community colleges? All the real players are gonna hit the portal and ND would be fielding a team of Rudy's in short order, viewership would fall off because no one wants to watch Rudy's play community colleges, the TV contracts would disappear and ND football would be dead. That's exactly what needs to happen. The rest of college football needs to band together on this one and tell them stop, no more of this bullshit. No more special treatment. The same standards that apply to everyone else apply to you and if you don't like it then you can just stomp off and take your ball and go home... again. Just forever this time.

I couldn't care less if they do. There are entirely too many in the first place.

Possibles(although not definites): Jets Browns Colts(injury related only) Vikings Saints or Falcons is an arguable take but I am very doubtful they would swap their challenging QB situations for ours.
