Yeah. I distinctly remember being apoplectic watching his first game vs Atlanta in 2023. His lack of urgency on the drop and in general, and the lack of downfield throws were the two primary motivators for that. I was against it but the hype on this board was so great, you couldn’t question him. Post draft, camp, preseason. I had held my tongue until I saw him on the field in a real NFL game. Boy oh boy, total confirmation he was a huge mistake. It hasn’t changed much. he hits a lick occasionally where he does well but it flatlines again pretty quickly. The best memory of him that I have is that TD he threw where he knew it was good and turned around and didn’t watch it get caught. That is his high point. It was so good that a lot of people lived on it and are still living on it.

Pass on Geno... we don't need another QB that only throws checkdowns. Jameis is the answer - the dude is capable of making throws that the best QBs can make. He just has a Madden awareness rating of 4... At least with Jameis, we can gauge how good our receivers/TEs are and know what we need in those respective parts (like is Coker a legit 3rd receiver, can XL look good with any other QB, etc.). Stidham would be another QB I'm curious about also

There are tons of articles breaking BTJ’s bad play down this year. Specifically him shying away and giving up. Especially early this year. That’s when he was at his worst. Hell, he has been better post “injury”. and the entire BTJ break out was all Mac. Not Trevor. Those are polar opposites throwing the ball. BTJ has sucked this year. Just a fact. People defending him and claiming others don’t watch is just silly. And for the record, the guy who says Trevor has a PJ Walker brain doesn’t want Trevor lol. I also had to talk sense into people when half the board wanted Watson lol. Not sure what the spin attempt elsewhere in the thread is about lol.

I read that writer’s take after Bryce was benched last year and he was slamming the team for Bryce’s trouble. That didn’t age well at all IMO. First he claimed it was over here and proceeded to lambast Tepper. Of course it isn’t Bryce not taking the coaching (footwork, 123 plant throw in 2.7 secs, etc). Never that. Last year and in 2023. We hash out mo better insight right here than these national writers. But it was interesting to see. .
