  1. Past hour
  2. Calling an offensive trip on the attacking down team in the playoffs seems like bad refereeing.
  3. Try quoting me bud. “R.J. iSn’T oFfIciAllY BACk”… he’s back, no need to even argue this. Powell is a defensive specialist and that’s it right now, I’ve watched the majority of his HS games. Anyone thinking he’s going to come in and be a starter right away is out to lunch. He’ll eventually jump Withers but any true Carolina fan knows good and well that Hubert won’t start him right out of the gate. And the fact that we’re in on Thiero and were in on Aidoo is a obvious sign that Hubert is trying to upgrade that position. There was absolutely no reason to be a dick but yet you decided to have a breakdown. Editing to add Powell’s scouting report that literally lists his offensive game as being a work in progress (https://247sports.com/player/drake-powell-46116213/). And as for the transfers, UNC already has multiple CB’s for Tyson and are likely to land Omoruyi. Thiero and Brea are up in the air.
  4. I’m honestly finding it tough as hell to project us. I have my favorites this year but they don’t really align with what I think we do.being predictive, I’m thinking about who we pick more than who I like and trying to reconcile that potential selection. I.E. - Big fan of Newton DT, Barton IOL, Frazier C, Sainistril CB, Polk WR, Kneeland ED/DE, Pearsall WR, Melton CB and a few others.. but it’s just kinda tough to figure out for this team. We’ve got a ways to go but I feel like they never lean towards the guys I like.
  5. You talking starters in terms of rookie season or overall? I mean we have had drafts with multiple pro bowlers for us and landing 3 or 4 legit starters for us. Not the norm but it’s happened a time or two
  6. RJ Davis is not officially staying yet. Also, we are probably missing on most of those transfers. Powell third string PF is funny to me. You obviously have no idea about his game but keep acting like you know anything
  7. Canales today said that scheme influences "BPA", or "rankings" rather might be the better word. With this draft smokescreen stuff no one ever really finds out the truth behind the big boards and whether a team panics and reaches when the clock is ticking
  8. C WR TE but we don't need anymore reaching so BPA is fine. I really hope Morgan has learned a lot from watching Fitterer think he's the smartest guy in the room on draft night.
  9. Nice effort and work but I disagree like crazy with the picks
  10. This right here. Bryce 100% gives off the take it or leave it vibe when it comes to football. There is 0.00% win or die vibe. You’re the #1 overall pick on a team that believed in you so much that they gave up the farm, you turned in the most putrid QB performance seen in almost 20 years, and you go home and chill? You got shirt tackled on the regular. It’s a miracle you still have a spleen. You’re supposed to be the alpha leader in a room full of grown ass men. Wat Dah Fark bro?!! Alls I’m saying is Dan Morgan was a dawg, wants dawgs and knows one when he sees one. Bryce better start barking.
  11. Thielen is literally a shell of what he use to be. sure he runs good routes still but he has clearly lost a step and shoulsnt stop you from getting a talented player and long term option. Johnson was let go because he was their number 1 options? their castaway is our number 1 let that sink in... no one is letting number 1 options walk with no compensation. In a historic wr deep class taking 2 is perfectly acceptable. We don't know what Mingo prognosis is but i didn't see anything from him that said future star.. at best he might be a 3rd option? You can't go into the season saying any of these guys are in your Long term plans.
  12. sure there’s criticisms but welcome to the nfl draft. I’m generally more concerned with what these guys can do as opposed to what they can’t. He has rare attributes. That’s hard to get outside the top of the draft.
  13. At this point if Ben sinnot is not a panther every mock draft created is wrong. do we have a mole in the building or is this the only TE in the entire draft the panthers can draft ?
  14. It comes down to if he can get stronger through his routes. If he beats a guy off the line he's gone, but so are most receivers, but if a DB gets hands on him, and DBs are better in the pros, he can't get free. If he can get better at that, then he could be pretty damn good.
  15. Really good insight, Bear Hands. I appreciate the breakdown. I am very interested to see who pulls the plug on the Tier II WRs.Of course, we all know the top 3, but when the 2nd tier of talent starts to go will determine who is left at 33. If it happens before 27 or so, I can see Carolina trading down or going BPA. If it happens later around pick 30, I could almost foresee a WR going at 33 to Carolina. thanks for the insight!
  16. I did say, or looked like they are in their 50s. Didn’t know Canales was 42. He look like he is in his mid to late 30s.
  17. nobody plays as fast as their 40 time, but that’s not the point. He’s bendy and explosive pre and post catch and is always the most explosive guy on the field. He’s held up and done it consistently over three seasons. im not getting locked into this idea of needing to find a traditional X player, especially since we’re not picking in the 1st round. If he struggles against press, then motion him and line him up off. It’s not uncharted territory he has rare attributes that good offensive coordinators dream about. That’s hard to get in the second round and I’d much rather do that than hoping some of these other guys-all of them with their own set of flaws-to an increasing degree the further down the board you go-put it together.
  18. In all seriousness. Anything is better than admitting your first order of business after one of the worst rookie QB seasons of all time is...doing nothing. I cannot say enough that it gives Sam Darnold vibes.
  19. How about Malik Washington? Guy was a monster on offense and special teams last year.
  20. Jarvis +260 to score a goal tmrw seems like free money. I laid $100 on it to happen. Also laid down a $50 on a two leg parlay. Svech +.5 shots on goal and Jarvis with a point at -130. Let’s go baybay!
  21. You’re overthinking it, he was referring to a unanimous consensus, not a comparable example.
