Rookie WRs can come right in and contribute. Last year should have proved that to anyone who was paying attention. Why overpay for one in FA?

Why Gettleman is a GM... and you aren't.
Khaki Lackey replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
Hey! These are the same troll alts from last offseason!!! We're supposed to have a fresh batch with a slightly different theme every year. If we are going to do retreads, we should trade for PFFL. This is bullshit. -
Gettleman: Oher can be answer at left tackle
Khaki Lackey replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
If you don't know anything about my post history, don't guess. I realized we didn't have many options last year, and I realize he wasn't going to come out and say "we're screwed at tackle" publicly. But this reeks of the Bell treatment from last offseason. In other words, I don't really think Gettleman is really confident that Oher is our answer at left tackle. He's just trying to warm the fanbase up to the worst case scenario like he did last year. -
Gettleman: Oher can be answer at left tackle

I really like our GM, but if I'm being honest, we've all seen how our possible answers at OL have panned out -
You have to use a caveat in your own example? Lol

Hardy is a great example of why you don't throw huge money or spend high draft picks on guys with questionable judgement. Hardy set us back big time last year. We're lucky it was only for one season's worth of top tier salary. Hardy's not a terrible guy either. He just made a few bad decisions. But those decisions damn near wrecked our season last year. Does it suck passing up on talented guys that may perhaps get it together and thrive elsewhere? Sure, but that's easier to swallow than the horseshit we went through last season.

Has anyone made a joke about Cam getting blind sided yet?

You must've felt like Geno Smith on draft day one.

Ted Ginn leaning towards going home to Cleveland
Khaki Lackey replied to nctarheel0619's topic in Carolina Panthers
Maybe he's butthurt from us letting him walk. He didn't exactly have a "I sure showed them" stint in AZ. Maybe the anti-Gettleman crybabies were right. "No one will ever want to play for Carolina...unless they're good and actually expect to earn their money!!!!" I'm just screwin' around, I'd much rather having him returning kicks and punts than our current situation. -
WTF is this about a Dez Bryant video worse than Ray Rice's?
Khaki Lackey replied to top dawg's topic in Carolina Panthers
Re-signing Hardy would go under the radar quite nicely when this video is made public. -

Maybe by "five times worse" they are talking about production value. Like lighting and cinematography. -
Honestly, I'm little surprised that JR didn't show for his mom's funeral. Not sure what the etiquette protocol is, as far as how close you have to be to someone to attend their family members' funeral. I'm also not sure whether or not Deangelo should feel pissed. Me personally? I might feel a little slighted if no one from the company I worked for showed up to my mom's funeral.

I guess Gettleman is figuring he's probably stuck with Rivera so he's doing his paht to assure success by taking away Ron's underachieving pet projects. The players play hod fa Rahn, we just need the best possible player at every position to be able to succeed with subpar coaching.

We need less mods. Let's have a vote for who gets demoted!!! That would be entertaining.

DGB Considered "Best WR to Come Out since Calvin Johnson."
Khaki Lackey replied to nctarheel0619's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yep. We have too many holes to risk wasting a first rounder. Plus, I'm sure JR is well aware that the Costas' of the world will refer to us as "woman abuse condoners" until the end of time. -
We've seen how well Gettleman drafts. We've seen how he handles veterans with declining skills and marginally talented free agents. We have yet to see how he handles retaining star players. I hope he doesn't screw it up. For all we know, his philosophy might be, "if you get the hogs in the trenches big enough, you can put anybody back there and win and spend more money on defense." I hope that isn't the case. Unless, of course, we win a super bowl that way.

Has Voth changed his opinion of Hardy's future?
Khaki Lackey replied to Nick_81's topic in Carolina Panthers
It's not always that black or white. Winning might be very important to JR, but not as important as being portrayed in the media as "indifferent to domestic violence." -
Ok, I've changed my tune, Lola should definitely be a mod as well.
-
If Lola wins, will there be 4 or 5 days a month where we would have to walk on eggshells to avoid getting bant, and get absolutely no pie at all?
-
Are you out of your mind? Look who wins elections in this country! The public can't even pick a good American Idol winner, and the Huddle is actually worse than the general public! Montsta (who should have made mod years ago) and RR should be the next mods. No offense to Lola, but women with ban-hammers are too damn intimidating. It's not you, it's me.
-
Don't make any of those people mods. They're all good posters that'll turn all lame and serious once they become mods ...cough..rayzor!..cough

Ian Rappoport confirms it was a hoax
Khaki Lackey replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
So you don't think it's a possibility that you saw Igo's picture and assumed you saw Rapoport's tweet and convinced yourself after the fact? So your logical conclusion is, Rapoport tweeted it minutes before some one photoshopped a hoax of it?
