Beginning of the End For the Redskins?
MechaZain replied to Mr Mojo Risin's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah well I heard of this one Native American who didn't find it offensive so it's fine guys. Case closed. -
Rivera's said recently that he really likes the flow of our no huddle offense so there's a lot more of that coming.

Coming to terms with the Frank Kaminsky pick...
MechaZain replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Charlotte Hornets
Never said he didn't want to come here. He compared playing in front of 17k+ people in college to teams like the Bobcats who regularly had empty arenas. That's just facts. That's not why people hate this move anyway, let's be real. Dude could end up being Vlade Divac but everyone's convinced he's Cody Zeller or Adam Morrison. -
Coming to terms with the Frank Kaminsky pick...
MechaZain replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Charlotte Hornets
Worst part about all this is that the fans may have burned the bridge before the kid could even step foot on it. He could end up being really good for all we know, but if I were him I wouldn't want to stay in Charlotte after last night. You'd think after Noah and Lance this fanbase would have learned to not get carried away before we see what players are made of. -
Praise an assistant too highly and he'll be coaching the Browns before you know it. So Proehl's alright.

I really doubt Cotch brings as much to the locker room as everyone assumes he does. Last year maybe, but who wants to be mentored by an older guy who isn't very good? I'm sure the recievers look up to KB more now and Proehl brings the veteran experience.

I hope he never returns a punt again in his life but I have no qualms with his receiving. He was the clutch possession receiver that Cotchery was advertised as last year.

Even if it was solely because of "the catch" that's still better than Sherman beating Cam thanks to a funny rant. Yes I'm still bitter.

A little trouble in paradise (Seattle)? RW contract talks
MechaZain replied to nctarheel0619's topic in Carolina Panthers
For a back foot, across the body toss this one is impressive tho........................... Cam tends to zero in on his receiver and that same throw would have been a pick 6 if not for the misdirection. -

Cam's best bet is try and get more than Kaep and Dalton but he knows that Russ is the ceiling. He may very well be better but "I deserve more because my team isn't as good" doesn't fly in contract negotiations the way playoff and super bowl wins do. -
If he prefers working his way up to maybe RT over starting at LT this might be a blessing in disguise.
-
gettlemanjack I appreciate the tweets usually but please no more play-by-play of this crap
-
Then his value would drop for sitting out a year. He's already lost about $4m for doing nothing wrong, this is just consolation. I don't understand why UDFA contracts need to be capped so low anyway. In what other situation would every team pass on a guy for 7 rounds only to have a bidding war on him immediately after?
-
If we're passing on top prospects at dollar store prices because we don't want attention now we've hit a new low. I hope that Voth and Zod are right and we're in one of those visits.
-
If "not a suspect" and "still not a suspect" equals "definitely a suspect" to you and the league we're screwed anyway. I don't think police departments have press conferences announcing innocent people.
-
Just going based on all these comments from journalists but maybe I'm giving them too much credit. They're all saying "if he's cleared" as if teams are waiting on a public police announcement still.
-
kinda ridiculous to me teams are waiting like the police would just let him walk and announce him as a suspect later in a press release.
-
In two years when he's a free agent again I can see him signing a big contract with his hometown team or to some destination location, but in the meantime there's no team in the league that can raise his stock more than the Panthers. I can't think of a more nationally infamous o-line and if the unit improves at all it would make him a star at his position overnight. That's way more appealing than getting a ring on the bench or a short drive home in your first two seasons.

I just assume Saints fans don't know much of anything. It hasn't failed me yet.
-
DGB I understood but the big cat's officially getting senile if La'el's cleared and we don't even try
-
I'd like for him to split time with Philly. Having a burner and possession reciever as options would give Shula a lot of flexibility. I think we can all agree he shouldn't return kicks ever again
