  1. This is the correct answer. All the other answers are just hysterical boo hooing.
  2. I think signing a stud LT is the highest priority in the offseason. Look at what Trent Williams did for SF.
  3. Blow this line up in the offseason. We're going to need a new RG and a LT. Move Icky to LG. I think Boseman is still good and frankly when you have good OL around you it makes you better too.
  4. Yeah that's what I meant. It's too early to say Bryce is a bust so far he's trending in the wrong direction and with the surrounding cast he has it's not going to turn around this year. I guess we'll see what happens next year...
  5. It's going to set us back for many years to come. Really it's the worst case scenario. We can't fix it next year b/c we're giving the Bears the top overall pick. Means we'll have to wait for another year of horrible football to get back to even picking our next QB. Years of pain incoming for us Panthers fans!
  6. Sorry guys we made a collossal mistake that’s going to set us back for years. Tough to be a Panthers fan right now.
  7. Suck it Panther haters! Future hall of famer! NFL Rookie Watch @NFLRookieWatxh Bryce Young just played his BEST game as a Panther, despite an 18-point loss: • 25/41 (61%) • 247 passing yards • 3 passing TD’s • 2 INT’s • 82.1 passer rating • led 4 scoring drives (3 TD, 1 FG) Young is now up to 750 passing yards, 65 rushing yards, 5 TD’s, and 4 INT’s on the season. The Panthers rookie QB still has a long way to go but has showed MAJOR promise 1:20 PM · Oct 8, 2023 · 277.1K Views
  8. To the dolphins that is: Sheena Quick reposted Dianna Russini @DMRussini · 15m · Trade! The Chicago Bears are trading WR Chase Claypool to the Miami Dolphins, per league sources. It will be a 2025 6th from Miami for Claypool and a 2025 7th from Chicago.
  9. Thank you for leading a thoughtful conversation instead of a bunch or whining and handwringing that I just can’t deal with any further. Kudos.
  10. Screw it, we'll just run the ball like we did last year. Our Oline seems better at run blocking than pass blocking anyways and Young won't get killed...
  11. Hey look, another rookie QB struggling! Dov Kleiman @NFL_DovKleiman · 3h #Texans rookie QB C.J. Stroud has had good practices and is coming along but is also going through some growing pains. He threw 3 INTs the past two practices including a pick-6 to veteran CB Steven Nelson via @BKubena
  12. Slow news cycle but remember he had a cannon arm. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/former-nfl-quarterback-ryan-mallett-drowns Former NFL quarterback Ryan Mallett drowned in Florida , Deltaplex News reports. He was 35. Mallett was entering his second season as the head coach at White Hall High School in Arkansas. Mallett played at the University of Arkansas. The newspaper reports that Mallett was transported to a Florida hospital from a beach and was pronounced dead at the hospital. The Patriots made Mallett a third-round pick in 2011, and he played four games for the Patriots. He went on to play for the Texans and Ravens. His final season was 2017. Mallett played 21 career games with eight starts, passing for 1,835 yards with nine touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
  13. Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter · 6m On a recent appearance on the “I Am Athlete” podcast, free-agent WR DeAndre Hopkins listed the five QBs he’d most like to catch passes from: the Bills’ Josh Allen, the Eagles’ Jalen Hurts, the Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes, the Ravens’ Lamar Jackson and the Chargers’ Justin Herbert.
  14. Carolina Panthers: Jammie Robinson, S, Florida State - B Grade Jammie Robinson is great in run support, but can be lost in coverage. The Panthers have struggled to stop the run in recent years, so this pick makes sense
  15. Any intel on this guy? Good pick @39? Cat Crave @CatCraveBlog Former LSU edge rusher BJ Ojulari is scheduled to visit the #Panthers, per @AaronWilson_NFL . Should be available at No. 39 based on most projections. 1:05 PM · Apr 5, 2023 · 19.5K Views
  16. Yeah but don't you think that now he's out of school he can focus on building body, gain weight etc. Not to mention as he gets older it'll be easier for him to put on the weight. I was 6'3" 155lbs in high school but was able to put on more weight in my 20s...
  17. that's the thing - Young is better at processing and managing the game so it isn't apples/apples just pick the taller one.
  18. Interesting take by Peter King: Thinks Carolina has to know who it’s picking. From Jeff Brunswick, of Powell, Ohio: “I’m a longtime reader who enjoys every part of your column, but I was shocked to read that you don’t think Carolina has decided which QB it will pick and that it wouldn’t be smart if they did. Even if what they traded was fair value, I can’t imagine a team giving up all those picks, plus (in your words) their best remaining offensive player, if they didn’t feel very confident that the player they were going to pick was worth it. I know pro days are still upcoming but what’s really left to learn in the next 45 days if you already feel that strongly about a player?” Jeff, I have only a strong opinion based on those I’ve spoken with. Also, I have common sense. The owner and GM have been on the scene for the entire college football season and the lead-up to the trade, obviously. At the time of the trade, the four men who will coach the player Carolina will pick had been on the job for between three and six weeks. That’s head coach Frank Reich, offensive coordinator Thomas Brown, assistant head coach Jim Caldwell and QB coach Josh McCown. The Panthers have said this will be a collaborative decision, not one ordered by the GM, owner or coach. At the time of the trade, there was 48 days before the draft—and the only personal contact the four coaches had had with the top QB candidates was a 15-minute meeting at the Scouting Combine. Do you think all four of the coaches, settling into new jobs and in some cases having to hire a staff of coaches and move families, etc., have spent the time to form a confident and comfortable opinion about which quarterback they’d fight for, knowing they’re going to have weeks before the draft to research this critical decision? I don’t. You, and many others, think they’ve decided. It could be you’ll be right when the story is told post-draft, but that would surprise me. There is a great advantage in having the top pick, because if the Panthers know they can trade down one spot and get the player they’d have taken at number one, they can recoup some of what they’d traded to move up. The Panthers also now can breathe easy, knowing they can pick whoever they end up wanting.
  19. Isn't he pretty much Chuba Hubbard? What do we do with Chuba Hubbard?
  20. Check out walterfootball grade. LOL. Dude has good content on his site but this one is way off: Panthers re-sign C Bradley Bozeman (3 years, $18 million): C- Grade I don't understand this move. Bradley Bozeman struggled last year, performing like a below-average starting center. I considered center to be a need for the Panthers, but they apparently disagreed, re-signing him Bozeman to a 3-year deal worth $18 million. I suppose one could make the argument that Bozeman is coming off a down year because he missed time with an ankle sprain to start the season. This is why I won't fail the Panthers for this. Besides, this isn't an egregious sum of money.
  21. How does this affect the Panthers? They are picking ahead of us so that's another QB off the board.
  22. Raiders QB Jarrett Stidham to start rest of season. 54.8K 159 351 2,272 Tip
