You’re right about one thing its not hard i make my entertainment choices based on the things I enjoy. I enjoy NFL season game days where the Panthers win marginally more than days they don’t. We have family and friends over most game days and the party is much more fun when we notch a win sorry but I’m just not ever pulling for the team to win for a better position in the crap shoot that is the NFL draft

If we’re eliminated I want the wins more. The season is already a disappointment and if I’m not pulling for wins why bother to tune in?

As a fan who doesn’t gamble, who doesn’t let my fandom define me to my friends, who doesn’t get too high or too low based on the team’s performance Give me wins. no doubt but flip that. The current system insures that there are "regional" games in the early weeks. maximizing the reach of playoff football. If all of the WC weekend for a conference took place on the west coast they are reducing the "reach" of their hype machine.

Feels a bit like a change that’s not based as much in fairness and good of the game and more to pacify owners in strong divisions.

Im not trying to start anything or make any statements beyond how frustrating it is when its just a blind link to a site some people choose not to use. So in that regard thanks for the OP. Maybe that will help.

Using that as a source drives traffic and revenue for a site that has made a choice to be inherently political. People talk about keeping the politics out and yet source content from a site that cannot be separated from their politics. Its particularly cool when all you get is a link with not even a headline so you dont know if your clicking into a story about the Panthers or Shakira's fuzzy sock preferences

or ya know... maybe post from sources and platforms that are not so nakedly political

Used to be THE venue in NC. Everybody played there. In the 90s shows shifted to the amphitheaters in Raleigh and Charlotte. Purpose built for music, lower overhead, and part of national groups like Live Nation. Greensboro couldn't compete and lost out on lots of money for upkeep/upgrades. It was always better for sports and specialty events but Id be hard pressed to count all of the bands Ive seen there.

Too many examples of head cases and just down right bad guys in the NFL to think that Shedeur's "fall" was anything other than the fact that teams either didn't need a QB or thought there were better options to get them where they were trying to go. I think all of the off-field stuff is a tiebreaker when the on-field stuff makes two picks interchangeable.
