  1. No reasonable player would want to be subject to punishment based on possible false allegations. The NFLPA suit failed, but that doesn't mean they were wrong. They were morally correct imo, and it's a shame the rules favor profitability over moral correctness.
  2. Watson wants to play. Being forced not to play would be a punishment, and it would further harm his reputation.
  3. I think it's morally wrong and un-American to punish a person who is innocent. I'm aware of the purpose of the exempt list, and I think it should be challenged at every opportunity. It's wrong. I of course remember the Hardy debacle.
  4. According to my insider Tepper wants Watson and has been yelling at Fitterer to make it happen. (My insider is my imagination.)
  5. Watson is innocent until proven guilty. No one here saw him do anything wrong, and he will have his day in court. Right now he is innocent.
  6. Yes we have the future 1sts to outbid the Fins, and plenty of coveted defensive players to sweeten the pot without damaging the offense.
  7. We know that Tepper has big b@lls. Swearing on tv, grabbing his gfs you know what during an interview, crushing businesses. He'll push for us to start Watson if we get him.
  8. Imagine Watson and CMC comes back. You kidding me? And that young defense figures things out? Yeah I like our chances of unseating the Bucs. Watson doesn't need great protection, and the o-line looks worse than it is with Sam holding the ball and missing passes getting us into third and long.
  9. You trade for Watson and you start him. You force the NFL to do something, and see if they back down. If the NFL makes him exempt, then you get the NFLPA involved. If he stays exempt, then you plan for next season with a franchise QB. If the NFL backs down, then you plan for a possible SB run.
  10. Our o-line worse than it is because holds the ball too long and has no pocket awareness. Normal QBs get the ball out on time and are aware of what is happening in the pocket. Look at how many times Sam had all day and blew it.
  11. Tepper thought, along with the coaching staff, that we were going to come out and air it out with Sam. Tepper was expecting an explosive passing attack and a thrilled stadium of fans. I'm sure you saw Tepper sitting sadly alone in a stadium mostly empty of Panthers fans. The look on his face said it all. It's Watson time.
  12. If we added Watson to this team the ceiling is a SB run now. This season. With Sam the ceiling is like 8-9ish.
  13. Fitterer promised to be in on every deal, and this is the deal of a lifetime. This is a franchise QB on the trading block, and we could win the SB with Watson. We'd be a few moves from the SB with Watson at the helm. I'm pretty sure Fitt is on the phone.
  14. Fins can stick with Tua. Fitterer's birthday is November 4th, and the trade deadline is November 2nd. What a way to celebrate with signing Watson. Get is done Fitterer! I think he's working on a deal and Tepper is pushing for it hard now that he's seen how disappointing Sam has been. Watson could turn everything around and our protection is well within what Watson would need to make huge plays.
  15. The stammering was bizarre. I wonder if he is a stroke victim or something. The Panthers have a long standing tradition of spending heavily on defense, and then losing to bad QBs with dumb coaches. That's just Panthers football.
  16. We are not even half way through the season and Rhule is trying to limit the number of times Sam throws to whatever is reasonably possible. The is because Sam is terrible, and Rhule places an extreme value on not having picks thrown. Like Teddy would throw a rare pick, and I think he would catch hell for it. Imagine how Rhule feels about interception machine Darnold. We dumped Teddy for throwing just a few picks over the season (among other reasons), so imagine what will happen to Sam. I think Rhule is going to try and strangle Sam to death as soon as the season is over, let alone cut him from the team. That's a given.
  17. If we can't beat Gettleman's Giants, then who should we beat?
  18. Gettleman has run the Giants into the ground and now they may be the worst team in the NFL. Our defense should eat the Giants offense alive, but anything can happen.
  19. But the Giants defense will get gassed imo. Even if Sam poops the bed against the Gaiants and we unexpectedly lose, we have an owner who thought Sam was going to air it out and score a lot of points. Now he's seen that Sam is terrible, and he honestly looks sad and angry. He's had enough.
  20. SInce it's already clear Sam can't execute our offense, Fitterer might already be working on a deal for a different QB before the trade deadline is up next month. Otherwise we'll go hat in hand to Houston once trading resumes in March. Watson is the obvious QB for us and he's light years better than bottom tier Sam. It's not even close, and Houston is looking to move Watson.
  21. Sam will play better against the Giants because the Giants are terrible. Very likely we beat the Giants and that might one of our last few wins. Sam will continue to crap the bed against any average or good teams, and that will be it for Sam. No more Sam after this season. It will be Watson to replace him imo, and it will cost our 1st.
