  1. Deonte Brown will fight to start if he loses some weight. Deonte cannot be bull rushed. He's like pushing an oak tree.
  2. One thing we know about Rhule is he doesn't say negative things about potential draft picks. He wouldn't comment when skipping over Fields was brought up after the 1st round. He doesn't like players being talked about in a negative way. I don't think Rhule would be happy with his coaches leaking "Panthers not high on player X" type information. So is it the Panthers janitor leaking the information?
  3. Do you think our scouts are leaking false draft information to the media with the permission of Fitterer?
  4. If you're making a claim that Fitterer is feeding the media false information about our draft then let me know your evidence beyond speculation. If you're trying to convince me that Fitterer was the secret source of some Panthers draft information, then I need more than your hunch. Did someone in the media tell you that Fitterer gave them draft information and told them not to name him as the source?
  5. This is how I interpret sports journalism. If the person is quoted, it's real. If the article states "my source tells me" that means the source is one of the following: No one. A scrub who doesn't know anything. Not Fitterer.
  6. He doesn't have to tell the media lies secretly. He doesn't have to tell them made up draft plans or actual draft plans. Furthermore I don't think did. Unnecessary. Other GMs wouldn't buy it, and it only misleads gullible fans.
  7. And the funniest part is that they will say the same things the next draft. They already have their content ready for 2022, just need to swap some names.
  8. I would have been horrified had we taken Mac Jones. The sports media had me laughing with how many different scenarios they had coming from their "sources" such as: Panthers are trading up Panthers are trading down Panthers taking WR Panthers taking QB Panthers intrigued by Fields Panthers want Wilson Panthers not high on Lance It was all being made up imo.
  9. I follow Panthers news closely, and I don't recall anyone linking Mac Jones to the Panthers.
  10. Oh wait this is the guy who I was ranting about last year who did well against Derrick Brown! Here is a video made by some British guy that I posted last draft. Might as well post it again. Watch 65! That's our guy versus... our new guy!
  11. Here is a pic of another Alabama OG with the number 65, Chance Warmack. Chance went #10 overall in the draft. I want the Panthers to try and get Brown looking like Chance.
  12. At his current weight he'll just get gassed and be way less effective. The exciting thing is that he could be way better stamina and strength wise if he trims down and loses some of the excess fat. I don't think anyone has seen him at his best. I suspect the "team rules" he violated was eating way too much and getting too fat. j/k
  13. So there's the bouncing boobs pic, and right below that a pic of fatass Gettlegut's busted pick fatass KB about to bust his jersey open. What is going on here?
  14. We're making a balanced team. I'm all in. If you're in this forum in May, and year round, you're all in. I want this team to win the SB. I just can't reasonably see that happening this season. I also would prefer we build an offensive juggernaut first, but we went all defense last draft, and our 1st pick was defense in this draft. Just a difference of what I want versus what we're doing.
  15. And they won it the year before. And Mahomes was playing hurt, and his receivers were dropping passes they normally catch. And TB loaded up their offense with two #1 WRs and a great o-line. Wouldn't you like to be 1-2 in the last two SB?
  16. When you don't have that elite offense, you end up with coaches demanding near perfection on the field. No mistakes. No turnovers. You screwed up on that play and now we're going to lose! There is no telling how many times Teddy was told "DO NOT TURN THE BALL OVER!" and the like. How many times have you, as a Panthers fan, sat and worried that if we get down by 10 points then it's over? I'm so tired of that. I'm ready for an explosive offense.
  17. This the era of offense and elite QBs. Refs know not to let the game get boring and stale by allowing a bunch of holding by DBs. The NFL wants the ball in the air with lots of TDs, and they've tailored the rules to fit that vision. My blueprint for this team would be to build the most high powered offense possible, with a decent defense with budget players here and there. Rhule wants balance on both sides of the ball. That balance naturally comes at the price of not having an elite offense obviously. So we'll see how the balanced approach works.
  18. When Jackson first got some confidence as a starter he would beg the coaches to let him play man. Recievers starting beating him deep, and would rant and rave about the receivers pushing off. Then he came to his senses and realized that this is not the 1990's and only the most rare elite CBs in the NFL, just a few freaks, can really lock things down. And even then there going to get burned here and there or get PIs.
  19. The X-factor for our offense is the o-line and Darnold. Will the passing offense be explosive? Will the pass protection hold up after we passed on Slater? Will Darnold play better than his 78.6 career passer rating? We have no idea what's going to happen on offense.
  20. I didn't want Moehrig. Just not good enough. Still I wish we had done something more. In the old days we would just have our crappy safeties target the head to knock the ball loose. Now you have to play nice.
  21. Chinn did a great job against grandpa washed up Jimmy Graham. This guy Pitts is a whole mess of problems.
  22. Pitts is going to be a handful. Basically our pass rush has to get to Ryan. Pitts will be like an NBA guy out there running around.
  23. Then he would be on Julio Jones, and that's advantage Julio.
