Fitt's get out of jail free card in the past has been "oh that wasn't Fitt's idea, that was Rhule's." So Fitt should have been fired for the Sam Darnold franchise destroying blunder, but fans said Rhule picked Sam and twisted Fitt's arm. Then Rhule made Fitt offer way to much for Sam (no other team was even making offers), and then Rhule made Fitt sign the fifth year option. This is the type of imaginary fan protection recieved by Fitt for some reason. So then Fitt unloads a HoF level RB, and our biggest receiving threat for draft ammo for Young. Couldn't he have traded defensive players for draft ammo. Of course he could have, but he chose not to do so. Now Fitt is locked into this Young decision. If Young flops, then Fitt is going to be fired. He should have already been fired and run out of town and banned from returning to Charlotte for life for the Sam Darnold disaster, but we're somehow blaming Rhule for that. Fine. Fitt is getting blammed for Young if he doesn't pan out. I don't want to hear that Frank is to blame. I don't want to hear that Tepper's wife insisted on drafting Young. Finally Fitt is going to take responsibility.

The same problems repeat themselves but we don't plan for them during the off season and draft. So I said Horn and Jackson would have injury problems this season, and I never found anyone on the huddle who would disagree. Shocker they're hurt again. I think with Horn we might be 1-5, but who would be shocked if we reset with Horn from the start and went 0-6?

Assuming Young flops, then we're looking at the 2025 NFL draft to take a QB. If we hit on that QB, then we'd be looking at 2026 as being possibly a good season if all goes well. If Young becomes the guy, then we can turn this around as soon as next season. Now way to know if Young will be franchise QB, but he looks like a bust so far. Fitt has pretty much driven me insane with almost every move he's made since he arrived here. However, the most critical mistake was made by Marty Hurney not trading up for a QB he really wanted, Justin Herbert. Instead we got a DT. That was our chance and he blew it.

I would bring up the original thread where I said trade his ass at the time, but they locked it so no zombie thread. A lot of Huddlers were trying to argue with me that he was worth more than that, and we had to have him here, and we could never replace him in the draft. Of course they sound idiotic now, and we obviously should have taken the deal. I was going crazy in that thread for Fitt to take the deal. Now it's just a countdown to Fitt being fired.

I could go onto the field right now and throw screen passes and complete all of them. We need a lot more than crap I could do.

I'll watch I'm at the point where it's kind of fun to yell at the tv, and if we're down by two scores or more in the 4th I turn it off.

I don't know if Young is going to end up being a good QB or not, but clearly he's in a lousy situation here.

You start with a limited playbook for any rookie QB right? What have we been doing? Overloading Bryce so that he cries after the games?

We check to our fair share of bland run plays as well. I don't want Young checking to anything. It's not working because the defense just shifts after he checks to something else.

So Franks and Beans basically noticed that sometimes when Bryce calls a play he doesn't know what the play is until after it starts developing. Then he points to the sidelines with a "my bad" gesture. Yeah. That happens. So maybe cut the playbook down.

Young tries to run to the right for the 50th time and gets injured.

Tepper has never stood for mediocrity. We've always been well below mediocrity.

So who's going to take one for the team and bl@w Tepper so the Huddle can have some influence?

Supposedly this same underling also watches some of the podcasts made by Panthers fans on Youtube to gather info.

I've heard rumors that Tepper has poked around here a few times. I also heard a rumor that there is someone involved with Panthers public relations who checks in here regularly to gather information on what we think.

Give it time. She dates a lot of dudes, she'll land on a Panthers player sooner or later.
