  1. Many Huddler's seem to give Fitterer a lot of grief over his work for the past two season and after looking at all his signings we still have the majority of those players on our team. 2021 Draft out of 11 Picks 8 are on the 53 man active roster and Brown (6th round pick) on the PS. The other 8 see or will see plenty of action. 2021 UDFAs None are still on our roster 2021 Free Agents (deals over 1 yr) Irving, Elflein, Luvu are still on the roster. Though it cost us a 3rd round pick we got Henderson and a 5th for Arnold. 2022 Draft 3 of the 6 could see plenty of playing time (Icky, Smith, Barno) Mays being the remaining active rookie player that may see time in the latter part of the season. Corral of course will not see any time this year. Barnes is now a Dolphin. 2022 UDFA 7 of the 14 players we signed are on the practice squad with the exception of McCall who is on the active roster. 2022 Free Agents 9 of the 11 are on the active roster with CJ Saunders (for the life of me I don't know why) and Westry being waived. 17 of the 53 remain prior to Fitterer's time. 11 of which are starters and core players and the other 6 are contributors. Every GM is going to have his blunders and players that didn't work out. It is a gamble with every player you draft or sign. We could have drafted so in so instead of trading for Darnold and the list goes on and on. Most of us are armchair GMs, Coaches and QBs. When the final 53 is named, you have to believe that our staff believes no one out there is better than what we already have. (the answer is on the roster mentality) Overall, I think Fitterer (Rhule for whatever amount of credit you want to give him) has done a pretty good job of getting quality talent. We'll see how he addresses issues for the season.
  2. Maybe his agent is negotiating with other teams before they (CJ and Zylstra) sign with us. We do still have 2 spots.
  3. That's sad, they guy was having a great preseason until he got hurt.
  4. Only 2 OL? Good God haven't we learned our lesson. Hopefully, we sign two from other teams. I guess they saw enough talent to bring Brown back.
  5. @SCP No one does smack like you. So, during your playing days you were a trash-talker? Thanks for the laughs and your optimistic outlook. Panthers all the way!!!!! Glad you're back. Can't wait for your epic Cleveland smackdown.
  6. Had to be personal reasons. Wilks is one of the best DB coaches in the league. It can't be because they saw more of an upside in Harper over Barnes. I sure hope this Harper kid has some talent.
  7. Damn I was hoping he would stick with us. He has great promise. A full season under the tutelage of Wilks he could have had a roll in 2023.
  8. Don't forget the toilet paper attached to his sunglasses.... Thanks for the laugh, what a great movie.
  9. Can't you hear it now at home game.... McCall gets a sack and the announcer plays Breaker 19 looks like we got us a CONVOY. Runs the song for a few seconds.
  10. Was a perfect actor for that roll. Of course the great Jackie Gleason made it even funnier. "Sum Bitch"
  11. Did they have fuzzy dice dangling from the mirror?
  12. "East Bound and Down" Jerry Reed I have this song on my USB drive in my car. I love this movie.
  13. Efe Obada has been a fan of just about everyone on this forum. From the moments we got him through the international program to the day he made his first tackle in a real game. He truly is an inspiration to all those that follow him to the NFL. I'm glad he is still playing and when they are on TV I look for him to make plays. Congrats on a good career Efe, you are an inspiration.
  14. Not necessarily a good idea. Sadly, he made it to the wrong person. Now Cleveland has bulletin board material to get them motivated to go after Baker a bit harder.
  15. Come on, man. It's a classic..... lol Let's bring them to date.
  16. This dude is cut. Reminds me a bit of swole bones but with great hands and speed. I love his RAC mentality too.
  17. I believe beside DT and WR we could part ways with Sullivan from the TE group.
  18. Zylstra has always been a bubble guy but with the depth at WR he was replaceable. We have 7 WR I wouldn't be surprised to see one of them go before at DT.
  19. I am super excited that we managed to keep this guy on the active roster. He surely would have been snagged off the PS or never made it there. I'm putting in the 1st nickname for him. CONVOY from the great 70's classic by C.W. McCall
  20. Is there a waiting time period for signing waived players? Do they follow the worst to first as far as who is claimed off waivers?
  21. Phone Rings CALLER 1 "Good Afternoon Raider's General Manager's office" CALLER 2 "Good Afternoon, We are calling to see if you are interested in a former 1st round Offensive Lineman" CALLER 1 "That's odd we were just about to call you for the same offer. Maybe we could swap 1st rounders? CALLER 2 "That might work" CALLER 1 "Which team are you from? CALLER 2 (in Chris Berman Voice) "THE RAIDEEERRRS" CALLER 1 "Report to the GM's office immediately."
  22. Don't worry, Most are right there with you.
  23. I was really pulling for him. Got lots of speed. Hopefully, he makes it to the PS.
  24. It was between Fox and Rivera because they took us to the SB. Fox gets my vote. Rivera did nothing at half time to help our offense. We could have won that game had Rivera/Shula made some adjustments. Dan Henning changed our entire gameplan at halftime since the Cheatriots knew everything we were running. That move by Henning gives my nod to Fox. While Henning was responsible, Fox gets some of the credit.
  25. Isn't that Fitterer's motto. "We'll listen to any calls" Or one of them.
