And you can't say how much Dan did or didn't influence decisions that were made. All I can look at is what's happened while he's been part of the organization. And there's no way to know why he was hired either. You're making a lot of assumptions. From what I've seen from Morgan as GM alone, 1 horrible draft and FA period, one good looking draft and FA period. Not going to crown him a GM god after a year. Sorry.

    You're assuming just as well.

Morgan and Canales were hired 3 days apart.  I believe it was partially due to their connections in Seattle.  i believe Tepper wanted some familiarity with his GM and HC.

It is so easy to sit back and arm-chair QB over draft picks.  You don't know what the philosophy was going into the 2024 draft.  I believe Canales and Morgan were drafting for the future.  XL and Brooks point to that philosophy.

Name me one GM that is 100% on draft picks.  Just one.  You're not going to find one.

I think year one picks weren't for what can you do for me now but Potential.

XL hasn't lived up to the hype of a 1st rounder.  I think we all can agree on that. However, there still is hope he comes around.  What I believe they saw in him was his speed after the catch.  He needs to get more consistent but when he gets the ball you kind of hold your breath just a second because if he gets free, he's gone.

The Brooks pick was a signing for the future, and no one could have guessed he would re-injure the same ACL.  This makes the pick look bad but Dallas was ready to draft him later that same round.  IMO we'll have to see what happens next season before we can call this a bust.

Wallace has improved each season and for a third rounder has done well.

Sanders has shown flashes and considering the pick in the 4th round it wasn't a bad pick.  His sophomore season IMO was a little bit more productive.

Smith-Wade has been a good addition and has played well.  For a 5th round pick to get as much playing time as he has.  Most picks below round 3 should take a couple of years to get up to speed.  He's been a decent player.

    Crumedy, no comment

We turned Barrett into Jackson.  This was an amazing move and basically got a starting CB for a 7th round pick.  Pretty shrewd if you ask me.

Coker, maybe the best Free Agent signing of the 2024 draft class.

So, in short, you can't say that the draft was a bust.  It isn't a home run but all but one are still on the team and outside of Brooks have made contributions to wins.

2025 draft class has been much better with almost every pick making contributions this season.

Now take Fitterer's two years and compare them to Morgan and tell me that they have the same philosophy.

Dan's been part of 5 drafts, 3 as an assistant to the "last guy" and 2 leading the way. The first 3 with Fitts were pretty ugly overall. Last year's draft, his 1st, isn't looking hot. This year looking like a winner.

He's been part of some bad FA decisions, some good ones, and right now we have the most expensive OL in the league with our franchise LT on the last year of his rookie deal. That's going to get even more expensive.

I'm not ready to crown him as a GM god quite yet because one good year isn't making up for all the bad that's been done the previous 4.

Fitterer made the final decision.  You can't pin Fitterer's regime on Morgan.  We wouldn't have hired him if he had the same outlook.  It is very clear that Morgan is not Fitterer.

  3. You're never going to nail every pick.  For a while there at the beginning of the season it looked like Princely was going to be better than Scourton. Just about every pick as produced somehow this season and that's rare.  Not to mention the FA in Coker and Thourton.

What I do like is most of these guys have that "Dawg" mentality and in year or so they are going to really start paying dividends.

No. Theoretically if we win and Bucs lose, we clinch. No chance the bucs lose to the dolphins since they benched tua and thought Ewers is their future QB...

That can work both ways.  They have no idea what Ewers can do.  No tape just college.  I am not giving TB an automatic win.

I have no doubt they're going to exercise his option. I also have no doubt Dalton will be back and we won't even try to improve our QB room because we're good there and Andy is a good mentor for Bryce.

I'm not so sure about Dalton.  After watching the Green Bay/Chicago game yesterday I would love to see Willis brought in for competition.

No doubt.  Bryce played within himself and made enough plays to give us a chance.  For some reason this isn’t enough of a pat on the back for the Bryce guzzlers.

You can say the same thing about the haters.  Rarely do any of the haters give him credit.  He has a game winning drive and it's because someone else did something spectacular.

He's throwing long with accuracy.  He's avoiding sacks and making plays. He's the leader on offense and he's moving the ball.  Why does he have to prove worthy by throwing a 50 yds bombs every week?  It's about executing the game plan and IMO he does a great job of it.

Sure he doesn't have 100% rate but he still gets no love.

Is this crazy to think? I don’t see any chance Tampa loses to Miami. Why not rest everyone up over Christmas to gear up for our Super Bowl.

We're at home and we need to win this game.  Miami is starting a rookie but they have a potent offense and can beat TB.   I'd rather us going into the final week with the NFCS title in hand.

Really sucks we couldn’t beat the saints once, we still are underdogs to win the division even after this

    Sad isn't it.

Let's go Miami. Miami wins and we win next week we are champs without having to beat TB in TB

We doing drive by drive now to judge.  Interesting

All season you have had very little good things to say other than BY is garbage.

See the thing is whether you like it or not.  BY isn't playing poorly.  A little inconsistent but much better than you want to admit to.

While I wouldn't mind some competition for him next season doesn't mean he'd automatically lose the job. Your hatred it obvious.
