That's not how the story happened at all. Kid was Craig James's (ESPN personality) son, and was whining to his dad about how he wasn't getting any playing time. He got a concussion in practice and the training staff sent him to a dark room which is supposed to help concussions. Complained to his dad that Leach "abused" him and Craig wrote a hit piece on ESPN that got national exposure and coverage. Ultimately got Leach shitcanned. Leach rebounded and turned around 2 more programs and is beloved by all of CFB. Craig James is an irrelevant failed broadcaster turned failed politician turned whacko preacher man.
