I do think these refs have problems with the Panthers. No call on Darnold taking an arm to the head. Not resetting the play clock after the Falcons ran the ball to the other end of the field on an incomplete pass causing a delay of game. Not a good look trying to sway the game.

A Falcons player apparently threw a punch and no penalty was called. I saw Yetur Gross-Matos having his jersey pulled and dragged to the ground on a run play, no holding call. Meanwhile the Panthers are having ticky-tack holding and pass interference called on them. Very questionable yet again.

Refs on the take?

Yea the 2010 team was much harder to watch IMO. The 2021 team is a closer image to the 2010 team. Decent defense with an awful, doesn’t belong in the NFL QB.

The 2001 team was actually pretty competitive in most games. If I remember correctly they lost a few overtime games and several other 1 score games. That wasn’t as bad a team as even 2010.

Could be 5 or 20+ years depending on the QB situation. Panthers are closer to being the Lions than a contender IMO

True about Rivera except those teams had an offensive rookie of the year and a defensive rookie of the year in back to back seasons. Cam Newton was clearly going to be a winner eventually. This Panthers team? Yea I dunno about that.

Could be Brady showcasing his offense to potential new employers. He might be past attempting to win games for the Panthers. His reputation seems like it’s taking him to a head coaching job even if the Panthers didn’t score another point this season.

If you go watch the tape from the Giants game there were open receivers on many plays that Darnold didn’t throw to. Yea he went away from the run way too early and could have set up more play action with easy reads, but Darnold did him no favors by playing like a dumbass

I have been a Panthers fan most of my life having grown up in NC but I haven’t lived in the Carolinas in almost 11 years so my connection to the team is waning. If this team slips into a Washington Football Team era level of manic ownership meddling paired with miserable performances, I am gonna be outie 5000 pretty soon. Low key I am hoping an NFL team moves to the Austin/San Antonio region I can support. Hopefully in the AFC.

Tepper needs to hire a seasoned NFL consultant to hire the next head coach. Fitterer can stay on if he jives with the next coach.
