At this point it’s clear the wheels are coming off for this team. The cracks were apparent from early in the season, but they were masked by elite play from CMC on offense, and by playing some bad opponents on defense. The inexperience of the coaching staff is becoming more obvious every week. Injuries are taking their toll as well. All that said, the Panthers probably aren’t as bad as we think they are, but the season might be over before we see them prove it. The Panthers should come out and demolish the lowly and injury decimated Giants next week. It might be enough to get the team back on track and regain some confidence. A loss, and well, I don’t see them winning another game this season. What a mess this season is shaping up to be. Yet another miserable Panthers season.

It’s one thing to get beat because the other team is better than you. It’s another to just keep punching yourself in your own dick over and over and that’s what this team feels like

is darnold worse than teddy was?
hepcat replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
Based on what I saw today Darnold might be more clutch than Teddy but I don’t think he’s like way better, they are both kind of ass -
Cam Newton not on Panthers radar (as if that needed to be said)

This has to be said: Cam Newton is vaccinated and available

For a team trading away future draft capital and seems to want to “win now” I can’t see how bringing in Cam is going to make this team worse. Darnold already kinda sucks so it’s not like it’s gonna hurt his confidence anymore -
From 3-1 and trading for Stephon Gilmore and talking about the playoffs to probably being a dumpster fire in 2 games LOL what a terrible miserable franchise to root for

Poop is bad pie is good beer is also good and fire is fire

I wish we’d kept that interview with Kevin Stefanski

Things aren’t looking good rising a 3 game losing streak.

Why should we be excited? It’s the same thing year after year. Since the collapse of 2018 it’s been absolutely MISERABLE following this team and 2021 is turning into more of the same. Lots of huge red flags all up and down the team today.

Needs to put on more arm mass to wrap up. Cousins dusted him with a little hip check
-
It’s not drama. This fanbase is just used to the team being disappointing. We haven’t won a close game in like 4 years

I was pretty on point in that thread. People in this can see get cocky AF when we beat a few trash teams.

We need someone on this coaching staff with legitimate NFL experience.
hepcat replied to Eazy-E's topic in Carolina Panthers
Depends how bad this season ends up. Only winning 5-6 games again isn’t progress -
A joke? Who the f*ck are you? A nobody here? This team had ONE good offensive drive the entire game! The defense gave up almost 600 yards of offense! There’s not a lot of positives from this game aside from a blocked punt and one drive

There’s a decent chance the Panthers and Lions win a similar amount of games by the end of the season. Lions will improve. Panthers seem about the same team as last season.
-
Took the offense until the very end to show any tenacity at all. Embarrassing most of the game except for the last drive.
-
Lol of course we lose
-
I am so confused right now. It’s like it takes being punched in the dick over and over to start playing well
-
That's it. Tepper, Sign Cam or Trade for Watson.

People on here were deriding me when I was criticizing this team against the Jets and Saints but it’s obvious this is a bad team and the QB is one of the main reasons. -
The offense is absolutely atrocious without CMC
-
Sam Darnold is absolutely terrible and this offense needs a leader. It’s obvious Darnold is a failure and will not improve. Maybe Brady is also a problem. But at least having Cam will make this a more interesting season to watch than watching a Jets reject ruin our season.

Then a symbolic firing of some coach no one has ever heard of
-
I thought we were trending up but they disappointed in so many ways

I’m not even sure this team is better than last year
