I was banging the table to draft Fields the whole off-season. Darnold is maybe marginally better than Bridgewater but still lacks that clutch aspect.

Guys saying we can move on from this….I feel like this is more of the real Panthers than we realize. A horrible offensive line with a shaky QB who can’t play from behind, and a paper tiger defense that will get shredded by good QBs and potent running games. This is a better team than last year but not quite a playoff team. Injuries hurt as well.

Cowboys would have destroyed this team either way. Defense tapped out in the second half and Darnold can’t win a game from behind

Little too early for this. Gonna be a long season. I just hope we finish over .500 but that might be optimistic

Chuba was highly productive in college and the Panthers drafted him for the very likely scenario CMC missed games. I think he’s going to do well. Not CMC numbers, but he will not slow down the offense. Freeman needs to be the short yardage guy.

I live in Texas and went out to lunch yesterday with some co-workers and a vendor rep I'm friends with. All Cowboys fans and know I'm a Panthers fan. The general consensus was, and a I quote "I think we're gonna kill them". I heard "Worst 3-0" team mentioned. I mentioned the last time an undefeated Panthers team came to Dallas, they curb stomped the Cowboys on Thanksgiving and ended Tony Romo's career. One guy said "You're going to feel really bad if Dak breaks his ankle in this game". I would, because I like Dak, but I was just stating facts to some cocky Cowboys fans. This game will be tough for both teams and I expect it to be close. But if the Panthers pull out the win, I have some people to text right after the game.

The Cowboys offense is very good behind Prescott. Without Horn, Amari Cooper could go off. I’m really nervous about the Cowboys moving the ball down the field with short quick passes like death by a thousand cuts to neutralize the Panthers pass rush and testing their tackling ability. This game is going to come down to Darnold. Protecting the ball, making big plays, and keeping up with Dak. I think he can do it even without McCaffrey. But he can’t turn the ball over. One lost fumble will probably equal a loss.
