I know he used to do radio spots every week, going over games but I've never heard him do anything like commentating. I'm sure there are some clauses in that contract and I'm sure he'll never make the full 10 year commitment but at least he's tied up, I guess.

If the Carolina Panthers would have selected QB Justin Fields with the number 8 overall pick in the 2021 draft, do you think Fields would have requested to wear the number 1 jersey? If so, do you think the team asked him this ahead of time? Do you think this played any role in the Panthers shying away from the pick if they were on the fence about him? I'm sure this has been discussed before but as we are still on this QB carousel, I'd be curious to know if anything ever came out publicly about this?
