  1. That too! My thing is, is that we have some guys with true talent, particularly in the defensive backfield and wide receiver (and QB and RB and on the O-line). We also, added some coaches who know a little bit about the game. Knock on wood to keep injuries at bay, and we will hopefully be good. It's not a stretch that improvements will come and be obvious. I'm looking forward to it.
  2. We could say this about the whole of camp and preseason every year if we want to look at things from that perspective. Just saying.
  3. TMJ actually balled out during the preseason (more yards than any receiver), then injuries, the offensive coordination, and the train wreck of a season happened. We don't have to worry about Henderson getting play on game days. He was brought here to play.
  4. Learning, developing and showing marked improvement in camp isn't meaningless.
  5. People need to give this guy pie. He has his two daughters to boot. He might be foregoing some beer breaks too, but that might be a good thing...
  6. Corral obviously needs to get more run. I don't care if it's at Darnold's or Baker's expense. I don't care.
  7. Henderson truly looks to be moving toward his "3rd round" status for us. Some Huddlers dogged the pickup and talked sh¡t about him last season, being premature, and all he's done is improved.
  8. Yep. I don't care how we score. There are benefits of a ball control offense and winning time of possession too.
  9. It's going to take a lot for Shi to make the team. Today he's practicing like he knows it. He better prove his worth on returns.
  10. That kid has been in the NFL all of three months. That's quality, lean muscle!
  11. I don't blame him. I read a bunch of stuff (including here: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.yahoo.com/amphtml/lifestyle/podiatrist-really-thinks-crocs-170000715.html), but I listen to my feet. After walking in Crocs for extended periods vs other shoes, my feet are no worse for wear after the Crocs. After some of the other shoes, my feet hurt like hell. I don't believe that an older person would swear by Crocs if the shoes didn't do them right.
  12. I mean, I do agree with you about his demeanor, but I'm not getting excited over anything until the pads come on, there's contact, and there are 22 guys out there.
  13. I do too, but the only thing I can't wear are and bedroom shoes. I wore my Crocs all day long the last couple of days, including to a meeting with the big boss. I'm sorry they sweat, but try socks! These have a durability issue: The lettering separates sometimes. The regular ones like on my feet can last for years. Mind you, that they have to be genuine Crocs---not generic and not fakes.
  14. Comfort, man! I have a variety, but my daily players are the marled Cougar Sports ones. I hate getting bit by mosquitoes, so I just won't do shorts. I figured out that the polyester, marled Cougar Sports joggers are comfortable in the summer, so I ordered 6 more pairs from Boscov's. Admittedly they don't have many choices, but I'm a simple guy. They're comfortable, and they have held up.
  15. I have heard people say they break down. Mine haven't. Now admittedly I treat them like gold, only wearing them on those days I know that I'm going to be walking a lot, like when I'm sight seeing or at the mall (the one to three times a year that I go), but I try to save them. This model has been a revelation.
  16. It ostensibly shows that a QB is committed to being a leader, and that's a good thing. It's easily understandable.
  17. Yeah, I saw it--Baker's the QB. This is all just a dog and pony show that leads to Baker.
  18. I have a pair of those too, for those weather days. They are comfortable indeed, but for extended wear I still think the Crocs beat 'em. But, I will say that when I can cop a pair of those on sale also, they're mine. That memory foam is hands down the best memory foam. You might want to try Deer Stagg (Hubies only). They are under their NoSox designs and have comfortable memory foam as well. They are as "ugly" as the Crocs, but they make good winter shoes for chilly Southern winter days anyway. They're not necessarily for summer though.
  19. I used to be like you, but once my son hipped me to these, I couldn't resist anymore.
