Good win tonight though a 4-1 win would have been nice for the GD rather than a 4-3 win.

Unfortunately all the teams in front of us won so a home playoff game looks unlikely but if we could get to 6th so that we avoid Miami until the conference finals that would be nice.

Still think we move out of 7th. Also I came crazy close to smashing a massive cltfc parlay tonight.

    That’s basically Howell.

Send Bryce to Miami or LA for hopefully a 2nd or 3rd (might be wishful thinking), offer Seahawks a 5th for Sam and wash our hands of this.

It's very sad but your value on young right now is insane. What did the cowboys give for Lance?  I'd imagine Bryces trade value is less than that

Yep, I think whether he came out and said it or not, its easy to get a read who your "boss" wants, and be swayed that way. I think Bryce crushed it at that dinner, hes well spoken, super likeable, just the sort of guy Tepper would fall for, while Stroud isnt nearly as polished speaking wise.

I do think its strange how the whole S2 thing happened, like apparently Bryce had been taking S2's since highschool practicing them lol, I guess at least the S2 test is probably dead now, it certainly doesnt seem to translate at all. Bunch of snake oil that of course our owner bought into.

Second time Tepper has been conned when there is food involved. I'm about to bake him a pie and ask for 100 million dollars while he's mid bite

Say what you want about Cam, but I never questioned if he cared or wanted to win. All of the top tier players in the NFL have a burning desire to be the best. I've never seen Bryce show ANY passion for the game or to win.

    He's a bust.

Can you imagine the backlash if Cam had said this after his Rookie year? You know the one that set records. People would have called him every name in the book because they were looking for any reason to hate him. I hope all the Panther "fans" that shat on Cam every chance they got realize how fuging stupid they were.

he has already proven to be part of it IMO.  Goes to his handling of his first preseason, his OC hire, and the fact he his calling his own plays.  We do things that clearly aren't smart or ideal and defend it.

The best offensive minded head coaches call their own plays so that isn't an issue at all. Preseason reps were a bad decision but perhaps he wanted more time to work with Bryce because he knew he was still struggling mightily and it would have been determental to put him out there.  For all we know he wanted Dalton to start this year until he could "fix" Bryce but Tepper wouldn't give his blessing. I'm giving DC a shot, I want to see if this offense can look competent. If the line holds up then maybe you can put another qb in understanding that the defense is going to be dogshit next year.  If we want to wait on qb then I am fine with that.  Draft one in the late rounds and hope to get lucky

I like that he still says “we” when talking about the Panthers. Miss this dude for sure.

He definitely made the right decision to step away. He would have had a mental breakdown trying to lead the defense through the Rhule Era.  I'd definitely take him at gm over Morgan. Luke is one of the smartest guys to ever do it and I'd trust him to nail a high percentage of picks from his film study acumen alone.

Watching this game, and the lack of scoring got me to wondering.

Is it just me or does scoring seem way down this season?  Other than the blowouts in Dallas and Arizona today, no teams today broke the 30 point barrier. That seems unusual.

Curious if it has to do with the Crack down on the tackles lining up correctly. Lessens their advantage and Lessens the time quarterback has to get rid of the ball

I love Nico and Dell. Such a fun team

Could have drafted them both along with stroud I believe.  Our drafting since Tepper arrived has been atrocious regardless of who is making the pics

    I thought we'd be talking Arch haha.  9/12 223 yards 4 Passing TDs, 3 carries, 53 rushing, 1 TD

I guess Hunter in 2025 would allow us to still be terrible at least one more season (without a QB) and then land Arch Manning in 2026.

    Let's go.

He ain't coming out this year so I'm all about taking bpa non qb and waiting for arch

  10. We needed a tear down 5 years ago. Instead tepper wanted band aid after bandaid. Signing teddy trading for darnold trading for baker. Wasting all that time money and assets on average at best signal callers was dumb. We've focused so much on finding a quarterback that the rest of the team completely went to poo. We have next to no talent on this team that would start for any decent team. Then we mortgaged more future for a 5'10 qb. I said it this off season that we should have re signed no one, signed no one except 1 year contracts to fill out the roster. This team needs a flat out purge and tepper continues to force patchwork fixes that just make us worse

Or what? You going to suspend my account for a week again? The time for bashing is NOW. No justice, no peace! Tepper must admit his mistake before we, as fans, can move on.

I will bash the decision to bring Bryce in, and I will continue to bash his lack of skills and how asinine it was that I, an avid follower of college football, could spot the very weaknesses in Bryce’s game as far back as 2021 yet a billionaire owner meddled and could not see it.

then, I was banned for a week from the Huddle for saying this. For detailing his short comings. For detailing his lack of traditional skills within the framework of an offense. His lack of tangible assets to work with at the highest level.

So no, I am being vindicated the more time that goes by and I will not be quiet about it.

The Teppers thought Bryce was more marketable than Stroud plain and simple.  I would almost bet they forced the Leegette pick too.  Hey this guy talks cool and is kinda local, these dumb hicks will eat that up he must be the pick.  And instead of quitting right there on the spot when Young was forced on him Reich quiet quit on the team.  I don't blame him, Bryces limitations can't be coached around unless the defense is dominant and we can rush for 250 a game.
