Luke could have asked for a trade and continued to make millions of dollars. He walked away from the game because of injuries. He was wearing a neck collar to try to prevent future concussions because he knew they were going to eventually take their toll on his mind/body. Luke is still involved and in 2020 was a scout for Carolina. I don’t think he would have taken a scouting job if he thought he was working under a clown show. Patrick Willis also retired early as well and he was top of the league at the same position.

He scouted for 1 year and got the fug out of dodge because Rhule is a proven moron.  All his teammates and coaches were gone. Tepper and Rhule killed the panthers. I'm not saying health didn't play a part but if Luke thought we had any chance of competing I don't think he would have quit

You got life all wrong my man.

When things get tough you rather quit then work through it with your teammates. If you ever played competitive sports you should know this.

Win as a team and lose as a team. If 1 person is not all in then let him quit. He was never with us.

Sorry but your little man was SOFT! You don't deal with injuries at that position then all of a sudden become a workhorse for your new team and not get injured at all.

Fug CMC and I mean every word!

Stop comparing your 8th grade football days to professional football. He was absolutely milking injuries and looking out for himself and I have zero problem with it. Look what he was surrounded by and tell me anyone in his position would put blood sweat and tears into the poo show. He wasn't the only one on the team to do so. At least he wasn't mailing it in on the field

    You never played football huh?

When you milk injuries you are considered soft. That's not something to brag about and that's a loser mindset.

Fug Rhule I agree. But he turned his back on his teammates as well. Great talent, but I will never respect him because he was never all in on the Panthers.

You've never worked a job huh? If management sucks, all your coworkers are morons and you don't start looking for another job while doing the least you can while you're still there then you're as dumb as management.  Luke retired when he saw that clown show come to town. Go ahead and poo on him too. Is he soft? It's not a loser mindset when you're smart enough to know that you're never going to win with the management you have.

    Fug Em!

Lil bastard was milking injuries most of his time here. The moment he leaves he's all of a sudden a workhorse RB and a MVP candidate.

*Poo me up I'm a big boy I can handle it.

You're telling me a generational talent didn't want to run himself into the ground for Fatt Fhule after he already got a big paycheck? No fuging poo.

    WESTWOOD REPLACED????? WHAAAAT

He’s been nothing but solid since coming in.  Manning and conducting the pivot position with ease.  He’s a huge factor as to why we’ve allowed the 2nd least goals in the MLS.

Apart from playing Pivot, he can roam from his position and still plays solid.

He's just next up on my list. He's an OK player but could definitely be upgraded If we want to contend.

Think we are DP CAM and DP striker away from competing.

Big Pat I think can be successful but they need to either replace him or find other attacking players that pair better with him.  Personally I'd love to see Westwood replaced

Solid first half against a good LA team.

Joao Pedro is getting cooked a bit but the defense overall is playing well and Kahlina has been sharp.

Also, love watching Big Pat cook.

I'll take the point.  LA has been drawing with everyone and our defense played well

If the Hornets don't win the lottery, I would like to see them trade down. They should target some of the teams that have any excess of talent. Indiana,Sacramento,OKC, NO teams like that have some  good young talent sitting on the bench that could help the Hornets immediately. I like the hire. Read somewhere he may try and lure Darvin Ham here as his lead assistant since they have history together.

We have more depth then a lot of playoff teams. Our pieces aren't bad they just need to develop and actually play

Zero turn lawn mower is so much fun.  Took me 10 mins to get used to it and now I’m riding that thing like go-cart.  All my dude neighbors now want to buy it.  I mowe my whole yard in 90 minutes instead of 4-5 hours.

Why does it take you so long to mow? I can cut my 2 acres in around 2 hours. Lots of Trees in the front half acre fenced in the back with a swing set swing and hammock I have to move and then the acre field in the back. Also cut my front yard with my 2 year old on my lap in about 30 minutes this afternoon.  I don't have a zero turn either just a 54" Husqvarna with a bagger system that never works.

Honestly give me Bud, dude has won a championship without an insanely stacked team, had 6 years where he won at least 1 playoff series, only 2 losing seasons and only missed the playoffs once in 10 seasons.

Also side note, I don't follow college ball or prospects much at all but on the surface it seems this draft sucks and the top 5-10 are pretty interchangeable -- do we even care that much about the draft lottery this year?

No no one cares about the draft this year.  Fat Anthony Bennett would probably go number one. Might as well pick some rando from south Sudan and see what happens

I was wondering about this so good to know they are going in a whole different direction altogether.

Worse drafts than even Marty Hurney? Yeah.... see ya.

Marty always brought in at least 1 franchise player every draft.  We've been struggling to even bring in bottom of the roster draft talent since the fhule/shitterer  combo

i don't remember anyone thinking the panthers didn't get good value for him

he was coming off multiple injury plagued years and his contract was seen as an albatross

That albatross still hung around our neck. We paid 20 million in dead cap for a second round pick and lost cmc.

Paid 16 million in dead cap for moore to be traded to Chicago

Owed burns nothing but wouldn't trade him for 2 first round picks. Shitterer was beyond the most incompetent gm I've ever seen.
