Again, the emphasis in sunday's game defensively wasnt about limiting receptions. When an offense runs the kind of passing attack that new orleans did, they are going to rack up a completion percentage. Sunday's game defensively was about limiting yards. A couple players did that and were awarded high grades, but a lot of the team spent the day arm-tackling and over pursuing to the ball, inflating McCown's yardage total.

Benjamin isnt on the team, He's on injured reserve. This move was made to help the Panthers win the Super Bowl THIS season. We are making a move to win now, as we should. We're one of the few good teams in a league that doesnt have many. We should be going all in. This is doing that, and i approve.

This comes across as a enormous last ditch straw grab that not a single soul here is gullible enough to buy into. Everybody here has engaged in the discussion at some point in the last six months and trade targets have been a significant, if not the preeminent at points, aspect of that discussion. The defense has been poor, but I honestly can't focus on them with this game being called as horrendously unfairly as it is. There were two GLARING holding calls on that drive by the OT right in front of the line judge that somehow went unnoticed it is. meanwhile Ed is quick to throw the flag on us every opportunity he can looks to me like the NFL is desperately trying to keep the saints alive.
