  1. Why do some of you feel like you have to disprove the legitimacy of anything that paints Bryce Young in a positive light? Kinda weird when he's the QB of the team you root for and he showed huge improvement his second season. Is it just a habit now?
  2. And you know every team after Carolina had a long discussion with him before signing about how he was on a short leash. And this dude still wrecked his family's future. Selfish mofo. Or maybe he's playing 4D chess and trying to get the bag and a Lombardi at KC. Nah, Andy ain't putting up with that foolishness.
  3. Prime Smitty wouldn't have gotten this many chances. Maybe Moss or Megatron. Maybe. Antonio Brown and Josh Gordon were much better than Diontae could ever dream of being.
  4. He didn't just fumble the bag. He put that ish in a cardboard box. Put the box in a coffin. Then incinerated that bich!
  5. I agree those kind of players are needed, but shouldn't discount the importance of guys that can make something out of nothing. That's not always a QB's responsibility. And it shouldn't be. It makes it too difficult to win games when everything on one side of the ball depends on the QB. A strong running game and receivers that can make big plays are absolutely necessary to be successful. That's how you keep defenses honest.
  6. I agree with the first part. I don't think they get through Ravens or Bills though. Their defenses stop the run and pressure the QB. That's HOU's kryptonite.
  7. I wouldn't give up draft capital for a #1. This defense is devoid of talent in crucial positions. And this is the draft to greatly improve that side of the ball. We've gotta stop thinking we're smarter than everyone else. Draft defense heavy in a defensive draft. Draft offense heavy in an offensive draft. We did that last year, just gotta get away from those damn RAS scores - and injured players. Side note - I honestly think we could have drafted Ladd and XL last year if we would have held put. Ladd at 33 and XL at 39. We don't need a #1 WR. We need weapons. Guys that know what to do with the ball in their hands. I just don't feel like we have that right now. Bryce looks like the most elusive player on the team. That is not a good thing. We can find weapons 3rd - 5th rounds. Now that I think about it, I don't want Bryce thinking he has to force the ball to any player - see Diontae Johnson. That's not his game and I don't think he has the velocity to force passes like Penix and Nix. Draft BPA. Fortunately/Unfortunately we need EVERYTHING right now. With a heavy focus on defense early.
  8. My man is reading an instruction manual on the sidelines of a playoff game. WTF?!
  9. And that is why an actual wide receiver is better than a RAS guy. Just catch the ball and step out of bounds. Doing way too much.
  10. Thinking I would have used Devonta on that fake Tush Push pass.
  11. That's a grown man run! Got a football from Jacobs in LV against the Texans in 2022. I think he scored like 3 TDs that day.
  12. Dang Reed! Should have given him a move.
  13. That was so damn disrespecful. I wouldn't let that slide.
  14. Honestly, they could probably find their #1WR in round 3 if they picked the right one. That #1 might not be an X, but he could be the guy other teams plan for. Gotta give up on this idea that a prototypical outside receiver is needed. What's weird is this organization's best X was a 5'9" 180lbs receiver. Arguably the best player we've ever had.
  15. dang bro! squirrel grease?! take it easy on big country. he'll get better. it'll take awhile, but he will.
  16. that was a foolish gamble. could have lost him. surprised he passed waivers.
  17. I was thinking of that option - spying him. But that makes absolutely no sense. You'd lose a guy in coverage. That would be playing into his hands as he prefers throwing in the middle of the field. You'd be better off just delayed blitzing that guy. And if you try to spy him with a LB or DL, then he's not gonna make the play.
  18. Nah, I seriously doubt it. He doesn't want to run, he'd rather pass. But when he does he makes people miss. It isn't a play design. Interior oline is too good to keep your edge rushers at home. No way to account for the unaccountable. He could rush 5 times or he could rush 0 times and be perfectly fine either way.
  19. Oh no! That's BUD/S. That ish is completely different. I'm confident in saying no one on that show would last a day at BUD/S. No one. Some of them might die. IF they let them do it. I seriously considered going Navy SEAL. I was 165 pounds as a 19 year old. Benched 365, Squat 485, ran a 4.59 40 yard, 4.12 shuttle, 37" vertical (only 5'8"), ran 1.5 miles in 9:15. Pretty athletic. We had an actual SEAL in my graduating class. I was nothing to him. Nothing. Easily the most mentally strong person I'd ever met. Decided I'd just drive Navy destroyers and fire some TOMAHAWK missiles instead.
  20. Coker is an UNDRAFTED free agent and shouldn't be counted as a draft pick. You have to include him with Hunt and Lewis. I honestly think this will eventually turn into a solid draft. But it really could have been better. In a vacuum, I'd give the draft a C+. Given the guys they passed on, I'd give it a solid D-. Maybe an F.
