  1. Yep. Notice he doesn't "overthrow" Legette on the deep routes, like he did TMJ, Mingo, Thielen, and Coker. He's used to speedier wide receivers. He probably had quicker/faster receivers in high school. But he needs to learn to adjust to the player.
  2. I think this was different from the Green Bay game. In Green Bay, he showed that he could fire some shots into tight coverage when he just let it loose. This game showed a mastery of the offense. Knowing where to go with the ball, manipulating defenders, trusting the oline and receivers. And it has been a steady progression. Green Bay came out of nowhere. This performance started in Denver, and steadily progressed through the Saints and the Giants. I think he's kind of figuring it out. The only questions now, is can he be consistent, and how much better can he really get?
  3. I've posted it before. The Panthers' best targets are: a rookie 7th WR picked in the draft, an UDFA rookie WR, and a 4th round rookie TE. I think they're gonna be good if they keep developing, but that doesn’t look good on paper. Actually looks horrible. Even worse than last year.
  4. This is the right approach. But will add there is reason to be optimistic based on the last 4 games.
  5. Saquon should really be in the MVP discussion. He looks like the best player in the league right now.
  6. Dominant enough to sucker the Panthers into paying Miles way more than he's worth.
  7. Oh no disrespect here either. Just a discussion on opinions. You are 100% entitled to yours as am I. He definitely doesn't have the physical tools that you look for, but that doesn't mean he can't be special. An outlier. He's been that his whole football life. I'm holding out hope that he can develop into that guy at the NFL level. He's done it at every other level on his way. And he's finally starting to show what everyone thought he'd be. The past 4 games have shown steady improvement. With him and the rest of the team. Even the defense.
  8. Maybe in a vacuum, but probably more appropriate to compare his game to other QBs that have played KC this season. And I wouldn't call that a mediocre game. Have you watched the other young QBs play lately? Everybody isn't lighting it up, even against weaker defenses. And carolina had no run game to lean on today.
  9. I agree he needs to be more than a game manager. My point was that he's improving. He may take longer to get to what they wanted when they drafted him. If he's trending to be a franchise QB then you allow him time to become that. Does that mean he's meeting expectations as a #1 pick? No. But that doesn't matter anymore. Some guys take longer. Most guys take longer.
  10. Doesn't matter when he was drafted at this point. If he can continue to improve, then we have our guy. If not, then we try again. Right now, he's looking like he's improving. Too early to give up on him now.
  11. Bro... if that happened to me now, I would relieve myself on the field and cry like a baby.
  12. Also downplaying the impact of this receiver corp. Thompkins should have scored a TD on the first drive. Legette dropped a perfect deep ball. Tremble dropped a TD too. They are still bottom of the league. Trending up. But still bottom of the league.
  13. Receivers room is still pretty weak. Agree otherwise. QB room should continue bringing in competition too.
  14. This is the 2nd most yards they've allowed to 1 QB all season. Lamar got them for 273 in a loss. He also ran all over them. But he's a different animal.
  15. If he plays like this the rest of the season, they'd better be bringing in another backup level vet, and focus on defense and weapons in the off-season.
  16. Y'all still haven't bought in on Bryce? I get it. But he's shown improvement every game since coming back. He can still be the guy. And if Tremble catches that TD, Carolina beats KC.
  17. Right. Not like they haven't done it already
  18. Commanders sir. They're the Commanders. Be careful. Someone might get offended.
  19. Yeah what a great receiver. Wish we had him at carolina.
  20. That's the type play that gets you benched.
  21. Hunt is scary when he's pulling. Ain't no way I'm taking that on.
