I'm thinking the same thing. Look, CJ is really good. Nobody can/would deny that. He also has 4 legit playmaking options right now. They are making plays. They aren't just the beneficiary of a generational talent at QB - which CJ could be.

I'll take it -
CJ is really good. But if you think Collins, Dell, Brown and Schultz aren't ballers, then... They are ALL PLAYMAKERS.
-
That's a good question.

Bryce really has played well every game after week 2. He had to adjust to the speed of his NFL receivers. Much slower than what he was used to in college. -
Bradberry out there balling against down Julio and DHop. But LB.
-
Very different situation here in Carolina. He'd be a talent, but he wouldn't have games like this.
-
Did Houstons backup running back just kick a FG to take the lead?! Well damn.
-
Not just that. They are high pointing balls and winning. They're taking short passes and getting YAC. Guys don't do that in Carolina.
-
CJ is having a GAME!!!

I really like Tank Dell. Like alot!
-
I think Jonnu is faster than Thielen at this point in his career. But that dude's a show! Not sure why Panthers want to force screens to Thielen all the time. He ain't going anywhere with it.

Your boys as in your sons? That's awesome! May have to do that next season. -
Yep. That's why you have to watch other games to get real perspective of how bad the protection and receiving options are in carolina. It's really bad. Pass rush here is pretty sub par too.
-
Never should have let him go.
-
They really are tanking. It's soooo obvious. Should be illegal.
-
Nico Collins, Tank Dell or Brown would all be the #1 for the Panthers. They're all better than any receiving option on this team - RB, WR or TE.
-
Panthers could really use a running back like Foreman in Chicago
-
Agree. I'd like to see blackshear get a few of those screens they love to send Thielen's way.
-
As a matter of fact... Last week when Houston stopped the Panthers on the goal line and they were coming out from the 1 yard line, guess who they ran right at to give themselves some playing room? Yep. And gained 6 yards just like that, taking away the threat of a safety. When offenses target you as a weakness, you are not that guy.

Sweat is a much better overall player than Burns. Burns is undisciplined. He doesn't read plays well, often out of position focused on the sack vs stopping the run or screen. And can we talk about how many tackles he misses - of friggin QBs. The least athletic player on the field, next to the placekickers.
-
Burns is so bad against the run that he really should be a situational pass rusher. That guy shouldn't get paid top 5 money. He just shouldn't.
-
If they don't sign Brown or Luvu, so Burns can stay on the team... I'll lose all hope and just watch the best game when they're playing. Just catch the ESPN highlights, if that.
