Same here. The only QB I would want to see, and anyone would benefit from, is our rookie on IR. I’m just ready for a brand new QB room. New placeholder vet, rookie, and Corral, or some variation of that.

Hoping Miles redeems himself does not equal being okay that he beat up this woman. There is indeed an opinion between hoping he burns in hell, and only caring about him dunking a basketball.

PJ has been figured out. Atlanta was jumping his throws but just didn’t finish the plays. I’m confused too and agree that if you want to tank, let him throw away games. If you want to win, run a heavy ground attack with another QB would would make marginally better decisions with the ball than what we are seeing with PJ. It just doesn’t make sense. Slightly more production from the passing game, and we win last nights game by 2-3 TD’s

He was throwing Lindstrom all night. It so enjoyable watching a dominant DT.

This team overall isn’t bad enough to lose every game, so if we are going to win, let’s fug the Falcons a bit.

All they had to do to not lie was post Derrick Brown. Easy to do.

He certainly had all the tools you want, and unlike Levis, his youth leaves more room for development. He should have a monster combine too. When we suck, it at least makes April more interesting.

If that’s his 40, then it’s seems like a “Jerry Rice” type 40, because he seems to play with good mobility and game speed. But yeah if he runs that AND is small…oof he will drop. On a side note, I’ve dove into Richardson more since you brought him up a lot. Him at the end of the 1st (with that 5th year) might be a hell of a move with the right staff. He can throw some dimes, so he has it in him. He would be exciting.

Yeah Fitt is the big one. If he goes there isn’t a commitment to any player on the roster. Changed my view on many players; not just Corral. I think Corral has talent, but if Fitt goes, Corral probably gets traded unless we literally hire a Lane Kiffin or something.

Yeah…that would be a tough sell. Wonder how far he would slip in the draft if he measured out like that.

If we took Young though, we would have two rookie QB’s (Corral) who’s primary concern is frame durability. It does feel good that we are committed to using resources on the o-line though. That eases my mind towards smaller or thinner QB’s.

My current opinion is I’m fine with Young in the 1st, or one of the top 3 DL and trading back into the 1st for boom/bust Richardson/Levis. Lamar Jackson end of the 1st range. If Young was Stroud’s size, I think he would get the “generational talent” label attached to him.

I haven’t even looked at the 24’ class of QB’s (assuming we will draft a 23’ one), and woke up to a USC game being on, and after he (Caleb) led a TD drive, I said, “Who the fook is that guy!?” He showed mobility, a laser for an arm and good touch on a TD throw. Good first impression.

Absolutely agree there: I think they were just using it is a measurable thing even though I hate how bullshit it is too. Solid is tougher to measure. And as @MasterAwesome pointed out, DJ isn’t even a pro bowler even though many of us value him. Kind of throws a wrench in there. I feel like this happens with most stats analysis poo . I still appreciate the effort. It’s more than what most of us do.

To be fair, a “solid” player is an abstraction, while a “pro bowl” player is something tangible to perform the calculations.

As someone on the side of “not giving up yet” on Henderson, I cringed when I read this. If his play doesn’t improve, I agree with not picking up his 5th year. It’s a damn shame because physically he’s a stud, but you can’t get by forever on projection.

I’m dying of QB thirst right now, but I’m turning down this glass of water.
