I would rather set myself on fire, than to purposely suck for another season.
we need to move forward like Bryce is the guy, even if he is not.
-
He has been pretty bad but he is also a rookie so there is some hope he can get better. he has seen what its like in the NFL and now knows what he needs to work on.

I don’t give a damn about Tepper. He will be OK.
what I don’t like is these people in the media who watched like 2 quarters of the Panthers all season going to bat for a coach that clearly was not working- 1
-
We have yet to see Bill without the GOAT, I think the milks gone bad- 1

You are telling me one of the RPO OGs didn’t want to run RPO here, even though Bryce had been successful at it during his time at Bama?
Thats one hell of a hill to die on.

Since smitty got on the payroll, Ive basically stopped listening.
Dam shame cause I enjoyed most of his takes. I even remember he was on an island about some white WR named kupp being the best WR in the draft....
I don’t know where this is coming from, but Steve Smith seems like the last guy who would you could put under a thumb.

Wolfe makes a decent point about how it has taken a lot of owners a long time to “get it”. People forget that. 49ers fired 3 coaches in 24 months before Kyle Shannahan. But they are used as an example of an org that “gets it” and people act like that wasn’t part of the path.
Jed York was in the exact same situation before he hired Lynch and Shanahan, and told them that he would just let them do their thing but this only works if you hire the right pair.
I would start with Adam Peters

Never feel bad for a professional athlete. One, This is what they signed up for. Two, hes young, rich and playing the game that he loves for money.

Frank didn’t want Young and when he realized how bad he sucks, he probably gave up. I can’t even blame him with how poo young has been. Young sold himself as something he’s not and got Frank and others canned.
That’s a double edge sword because partially the reason why Bryce is playing like ass it’s because you’re giving low effort and because your offensive scheme is from the 1950s.
additionally, he was low effort almost from the day he was hired. Maybe he did want Stroud but that’s can’t be the sole reason to sabotage a job.

What other choice do they have, looking back and crying over what could have doesn’t help anyone today.
You can either be all in or try to go work for the Texans.

There's really no "even then" about it. If he doesn't get the stadium, the team is gone. There is virtually no uncertainty about that. He has practically came out and said it. Exact quote was something like "We're not going to force a new stadium on the community, they have to want it."
There are several markets in the NFL that would never lose their team, regardless of a taxpayer financed stadium (but even those ones use nearby suburbs as leverage to get them). Charlotte is not one of them.
Tepper has already shown he'll pull out of a city he feels wronged him in Rock Hill (whether or not it's true). The only thing that will decide the fate of the Panthers in Charlotte is whether or not the city will pony up for the stadium or upgrades.
I’m pretty sure that he had a plan to use rock Hill as leverage, but without South Carolina as leverage I don’t see any path to getting a stadium built here in Charlotte
-
I’m almost certain this is an old joke because I feel like I’ve heard it before with a different owner.

This is only really possible if he doesn’t get a new stadium within the next five or so years and even then it’s tough because this is a major east coast market.
just being hated by the public that ain’t enough to move the team. James Dolan been hated by Knicks fans for decades

Why can't we let him walk? Preferably tag and trade, but we are not tied to him.
Because of sunken cost, if you let Burns walk after we buffing trades for him that’s the kind of actions that gets people fired
-
While I agree, you still gonna have to pay Burns and the market dictates that he’s probably worth around 25 to 30 mil
And at this point you can’t let him walk

McCown fired over Bryce, a quarterback that wasn't his choice.
Staley fired over Sanders I guess, but Hubbard and Blackshear were both improved over last year.
Yall know this don’t make sense right? Why would anyone lose their job for a player that’s not on the roster. McCown was fired because Bryce has been ass

Soo Chris Tabor…that’s an interesting choice

I just don’t believe this the way we look this coaching staff is week to week.

Bryce hits, hurries and sacks are not nearly as bad as it seems. David carr led the league in sacks two seasons straight. By comparison Sam Howell has been sacked 47 and Bryce is at 29 before the game.
Bryce needs to be protected but it’s levels to being David Carr’ed

LT are hard to find, its possibly the most important position outside of QB. So if you move your LT to guard you now have to find his replacement.

Tepper turned some of the most professional and liked coaches in the league into whatever this is. I no longer blame Rhule
Franks mistakes are his own, Colts fans told us he was ass. He chose to complete change the offense without the personnel to run it.

While I disagree Bama wasn't a top program that year, you're arguing against yourself with the rest. Young Defenders in this thread are saying Bryce CARRIED Bama (meaning the rest of the team wasn't elite) and that he needs help here. LOL. No. We're all trying to tell the Young Defenders that Bryce needs to carry THIS team in the tiniest way to show us something. Anything. He's yet to do it.
I don’t know what to do tell you, the panthers situation is bad but I also expected Bryce to be better in a bad situation

Lol. Bama had 10 players drafted last year and probably the same next draft.
I always know what the right answer is because whenever answer you give is always wrong one.

Two quick things, Alabama was not stacked his last year. The only thing keeping them from being Alabama mediocre was Bryce. I watched Bryce be amazing several times when they had to have it.
two. Bryce may be mediocre, but it is impossible to tell because we have so many different issues.
Frank Smith was apparently asked about the Panthers
