Panthers Secondary Coach interviewing for the Broncos DC
CPantherKing replied to ncfan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Moving to another team as a Panthers coach or scout is the way to save their career. -
Fitterer is leaning on Bradway? No wonder we have Sam Darnold and on our way to Kenny Pickett. I'd keep my distance from anything Bradway recommends. The GM who bet the franchise on Chad Pennington while passing on Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers. He pushed the Jets as a consultant toward Mark Sanchez. He has demonstrated little to no success as a talent evaluator and GM. I value a GM by the people they choose to consult with to build a team. Fitterer is not doing a good choice of picking his friends and mentors.

1st play he goes offsides. He misses his blocking assignments often and just hits random people to put them on the ground while his assignment makes the tackle. This is routing for Penning. Can you coach it out of him? He is a project that will be frustrating for most coaches. Be careful what you wish for.

Pass. Not disciplined. Penalty nightmare and uncontrolled pass blocking that will put a QB on the IR from being rolled up from DLs he tosses into the pocket after getting beat around the corner. Strong and nasty blocker. However, he does not process rushers fast enough and he has a significant lack of awareness.

TbT... Why couldn't he leave the burgers alone!!

This is a myth developed by disgruntled fans. Every receiver got multiple years of targets unless there was an injury or their name was Dwayne Jarrett. -
Jack Coan, Brock Purdy, and EJ Brown I can see on an NFL roster This 2022 crop may not be pro ready or franchise QB heavy, but it is very deep with QBs talented enough to fill out rosters and hold on to roster spots for a while in the NFL. I'm expecting to see several of these QBs getting a shot to start in the NFL at some point in their career. Many backup QBs in the NFL about to lose their spots in 2022.

James Houston IV from Jackson St will be drafted. He showed up in the NFLPA and now the Shrine.
-
Zach Tom OG pulling, blocking, and running down the field all the way for the TD
-
Sylar Thompson from KSU with some nice touch and control of his passes. Purdy the only QB to demonstrate arm strength.
-
Impressed with that OL for the West
-
Cordell Volson OG from NDSU opening up big holes for Corbin from FSU

Jack Sanborn from Wisconsin looks like a quality NFL MLB prospect
-
Lowe from Illinois looking really good at LT
-
Brock Purdy with a purdy pass

Wanting to see Leddie Brown but Crum can't get the offense moving.

He is wowing scouts and NFL coaches in Shrine practices. Won the award for top practice player. He is getting noticed. Exceeding my expectations. Reminds me of Sony Michel coming out of Gerogia.
-
Thomas Davis and Travelle Wharton with these prospects! Better than the Jets and Lions coaching staffs? Yes. Definitely! lol

This is the bowl that gave us the GOAT not the Senior Bowl hmmmmm.... Senior Bowl overrated?

Saying he wont have an NFL future? -
He had one offer to play QB from Utah. Went to an elite QB camp. Trent Dilfer tapped him and gave him the gold ticket to go to the finals camp where he got a flood of offers - USC was not one. He was considering playing QB for Duke, but really wanted to be the USC QB. Pushed USC to recruit him as QB. USC offered him to play OLB and Darnold declined. Had his HS coach send highlights of his athletic ability with basketball, and then received an offer from USC to play QB. We have Trent Dilfer, Matt Leinhart, Jordan Palmer, and Mark Sanchez to thank. They have been working with and pumping up Sam Darnold for years.
-
Darnold's #1 football goal was to be the starting QB for USC. He has achieved his goal. He has no desire for a Super Bowl. Cashing checks and thinking about the beach like his coach.

So sensitive. Maybe I underestimated how many fans take this Watson storyline serious. Clemson fans? Have some fun with it. Sensationalism and speculation in that podcast.

Harbaugh is going to keep pulling money out of Stephen Ross' billion dollar wallet with Michigan or the Dolphins. Harbaugh's sugar daddy.
