  1. I feel like this Horn situation is going the same way as Burns, meaning a player expecting top of the market money when they're not really worth it. They might be better off using that money on pass rushers in FA and use 8 to draft a CB.
  2. Probably came back just to prove David Newton is a liar who likes to creep on players in the changing room.
  3. Ranked 63rd in pressures, with 30 for the season. Seems to be solid in defending the run but we need pressure from our OLB.
  4. Or they'll be looking at the cap in future years and work something out? I mean it wouldn't be hard to give him a big signing bonus to lower the cap hit in the first year.
  5. Great tweet. Not only throwing shade on Newton's weird behaviour but also exposing him for the hack he is by discrediting his story (Corbett wanting no competition).
  6. People complain about most of the defense being so bad they shouldn't be in the league and then want to put all the blame on the DC. IIRC the defense was statistically not that bad in 2023? I would let him have another crack at it with an improved roster on that side if the ball.
  7. If this was his first season I'd be thinking top 15 bare minimum. I still have reservations because of what's come before this 9 game stretch, but I certainly go into next season with much more optimism. Put it this way, after the benching I was thinking about the QB prospects in the 2025 draft. Now I wouldn't take any of them over Bryce.
  8. The guy was all over Legette's back way before the ball got there.
  9. Run game isn't there without Chuba. He'd be turning these 3 yard gains into 7/8 yards.
  10. Let's be fair here. If Legette didn't have stone hands it would've been 220 yards, 2 TDs and 1 Int and we'd have been winning with 45 seconds left. More than respectable for a road game against the Eagles who have the best overall defense and only allowing 180 yards passing per game.
  11. That was one of the worst spots I've ever seen.
  12. I wouldn't call them prayers. He gave his receivers a chance to compete for balls. Those throws were going out of bounds in his previous performances.
  13. Context is also key. He protected the ball well and made some good passes down field. The Saints are one of the worst defenses in the league statistically, possibly the worst.
  14. He has probably bought himself the rest of the season and a few more wins probably gets him next season because we won't pick high enought to get a 2025 starting QB in the draft.
