  1. Throwing into a tight window with two defenders there. Sit this bum. If he's starting after this week I won't watch.
  2. Throw it away FFS. He can't throw for poo and he makes brain dead decisions.
  3. Fan engagement is going to go through the floor if he is put out there every week. It will be bad no matter who plays because we will likely lose every game, but at least the other options might actually make some plays to get you excited. At this point I'm actually shocked if Bryce makes a completion. You can guarantee any down field attempt is going to be out of bounds or an overthrow.
  4. I mean this is really bad QB play. His accuracy is terrible. PJ Walker was better than this.
  5. Such a bullshit call. He's inbounds when he commits to the tackle.
  6. I bet he could figure out how to properly embed tweets on this forum.
  7. Yeah the Burns compensation when you factor in the Rams trade was two 2nds and two 5ths. Turned out quite well in the end, although obviously not as good as it could have been a year earlier.
  8. This is probably why TJ Tampa won't be the pick.
  9. Morgan said he's been picking BPA (not sure I believe that but whatever). He also said they want to come away with a corner today or find one after the draft. The BPA right now is a corner. So no, I wouldn't trade out of that pick.
  10. Training camp is roughly 8 months since the injury, so I don't see why he won't be there for that. 8-9 months seems the new norm with this type of injury recovery.
  11. Tampa is BPA and fills a need. That would be a great value pick. I'd like one of Tampa, Franklin or Sanders. Please just take BPA with this pick and don't trade down.
  12. At this point just take your guy. Moving down and getting a second rounder makes sense. Moving down for pick 157, a player that's likely off the roster in a year a two, is pointless.
  13. I mean there is. Seattle drafted Metcalf in the 2nd and gave him a $72m extension after year 3, before he got into the final year of his rookie deal. If they had drafted him in the 1st round he'd be getting that deal 1 year later and they'd be saving a ton of cap space.
  14. Yeah I know that. You were suggesting if he can play he'll get a deal before the 5th year (like Deonte Brown) making the 5th year not that important. My point is if he was a second rounder who can play they'd be looking to extend him before that 4th year. The 5th year option gives them at least one year extra having him on a rookie salary. For a potential WR1 that's at least $20m in cap savings.
  15. Well if they have the 5th year option they have him on a rookie contract for 4 years before needing to worry about an extension. If they took him at 33 they'd be paying him after 3 years. If he pans out that will save them what, at least $20m in cap space for 1 year?
  16. Chances of a 5th rounder becoming a solid starter are below 10%. I don't really understand why people are butthurt over giving that up. Sure hate the pick, but the trade was fine.
  17. No real issue with the trade. It's worth giving up a 5th rounder (considering they have two close together) for that extra year on the contract. I would've taken Mitchell though.
