We need some different energy. Canes start a 4 game home stand against winnable opponents. Great opportunity to regroup and get back to playing our unique style of hockey.
 

Would love to see Rod put the defensive pairings into a blender as unlikely as that is.

When they are good, I’ll say it. When they suck I’ll say it.   This team is toast with Rods lines whether you choose to admit it. I admit Koochie is getting worked like a drum. It’s funny, y’all fall on me over the past years for saying it like it is but when I say what I see, you can’t handle it. 

Your takes are overly reactionary and unimaginative poo posting. You blame Rod and management constantly, who have collectively cultivated and built a great core and culture.

It’s an 82 game season and slumps are going to happen. The fact this team is having the year it is with the turnover from last off-season is a testament to Rod and the front office’s competency in team building and coaching. 

Stop being so reactionary and making “fug Rod” threads. I mostly stay off this board because you think you are the king of the castle and in starting game day threads gives you some leg up in discourse.

Like what? Vicenza level goalies generally aren’t available for trade or in FA and if they are, our team would be depleted of what talent we do what to afford it. 

Yeah and what goalie was available? It’s easy to say “we should have moved on from FA”. I’m curious as to what you think the team should have done. Blaming Rod is laughable for that. 

Martin or no martin, this team is weak and cowers against Florida regularly. 

Our team is soft. Soft in the playoffs as well. We don’t respond well to physicality.

Young has played well against a good defense. Some of you are pathetically obsessed with poo posting about him. 

Hope Koch recovers (he’s stated numerous times he doesn’t like to be called “koochie”) soon. But he does not instill confidence in the crease. I don’t have any confidence in any of our goalies, healthy or not. Andersen when available gives us the best chance to win but he’s never available. 
 

Team has to explore trade options soon. 

Necas is going to get a lot more than 8 per year. He’s not taking a discount either, nor should he. 

These games happen. Hockey is weird.
