    Giving up 8 and 39 leaves you with no way of getting the line you need. Too many holes and specifically, too many holes on the line for that. Id work on the terms to keep 8. If we keep 8, we can trade back to the teams that will come knocking for Lance.

    This is also his opportunity to see the players up close and personally interact before the draft. He need to how these guys are going to respond to being pushed by himself and his staff. He’s no dummy, that’s for sure.

    Don’t like him but he is serviceable and the contract isn’t bad at this point. You draft his replacement this year and have the replacement play guard. Next year, when paradis is gone, the draftee slides over and we pop another guard in.
