Like he would move out of the way, shuffle upfield and then look confused as to why there was no one around to block while Cam is getting tucking the ball and getting sacked. And chandler got steam rolled every other play. I think some have hit the nail on the head: this is at worst a bandaid that allows us flexibility in the line, free agency, and the draft.

I don't get the hate either. The defense looked good but even when we were rolling, the LDE spot was noticeably weak. None of the options there are good at both pass and run much less elite at both like Hardy. Addison and Horton have shown that they are not the answer; Ealy is showing promise and is obviously cheaper - He isn't "there" yet but this might be the biggest problem for Hardy if he is innocent. I think maybe people are trying to protect themselves from feelings. It's like a break-up.. "I never liked him anyways" "he wasn't the one for me". We saw some of the same views and comments with 89. If he is innocent, I want him back. The way front offices have been bending over and grabbing their ankles anytime the media is upset combined with the Cap/contract issues that we still have make me reluctantly pessimistic.

I pray that G'man never has to make this decision - you are losing either way. If we replace Cam with a middle of the pack QB we are either better or exactly the same... that's what he is right now: middle of the pack (and passer rating alone says he is significantly worse). If we replace Luke with a middle of the pack mlb we get worse. I'm optimistic though, I'm hoping a better line, a better WR corp, and a better OC (please!) help Cam up to the elite category.
