  1. At this point he needs to be let go and no more trades until the offseason. Anything he does right now is just an attempt to save his job and that's not the way these decisions need to be made.
  2. The huddle has been right more than Scott Fitterer.
  3. Heard on the game today that Allen has never gone more than 2 games without a turnover. Hard to believe a QB of his caliber turns it over so much.
  4. I don't think Burns is the best player on this team. He has the most talent and ability, but right now, I think Luvu actually is a more impactful player on Sundays. In 4 years he's never taken over a game like we saw Garrett do today. That's a guy you pay top DE money for. None of us choose who we get to draft, but if Fitts had gone with a Huddle consensus, we might have had a better outcome.
  5. Hopefully more misdirection, motion and scheming to get receivers open. More use of Chubba as a pounding back. At 0-6, take the reigns off. At this point we have nothing more to lose than games, and losing it what this team has done best so far. I have a feeling though if we do so any of these things, Reich will step back in and enforce his old school offense because it's out of his comfort zone.
  6. Between the draft picks, injury history, salary cap, and considering we weren't just a QB away, I didn't think it was a good idea. Our problems are so much bigger than just QB at this point. We all have different approaches to building teams. I'm not sure just dropping LJ into this poo show would have resulted in much of a difference between BY. This team is one gigantic steaming pile that starts in the owners box.
  7. Creating seperation has always been his thing. He works hard at getting open. It's not all about speed. It's also about not tipping your hand with body language how you're going to move.
  8. Author Smith game planning 101. Makes no fuging sense at all. Trade Miles, Hurst and TMJ for Pitts, Bijan and London.
  9. Imagine drafting a WR, TE, and RB in the first round the past 3 years and them having 5 combined touches.
  10. Not exactly true. All the Ravens had to do was match the contract offer and it was done. No team was going to do all that negotiating on behalf of the Ravens. The 2 firsts were only if they chose not to match the offer. If a team wanted Lamar, they were going to have to pay the asking price in picks the Ravens wanted.
  11. Rumors were 3 1sts, at least 2 2nds plus the contract price. As bad as Fitts has been with picks, they should have made the trade. I admit, I was vehemently against it because of the estimated cost, but I severely underestimated the stupidity of this FO and incompetence of this coach staff with assembling a team. Of course, Frank would have turned Lamar into Ryan Leaf, but I digress. For the extra 40m a season, Lamar would have made the most sense.
  12. I am positive Zod got liquored up last night and forgot what week it was.
  13. Tell me you've been drinking without telling me you've been drinking.
  14. Hire Scott Fitterer again just so I could get the one to fire him
  15. I'm not saying he is or isn't. Just an observation though that if you want to create an offensive resume, Rhule and Reich seem like 2 of the least likely candidates to help with that.
  16. Dude has been stuck under 2 of the worst offensive coaches in the NFL. If he ever wants a chance at having a career, getting the hell out of this poo show makes sense.
  17. Adams, their 1st and 25' 2nd and I'd be good with that.
  18. Could be really good for a team that plays mostly on grass.
  19. There are 100s of college players every year that did it in college effectively that watch their career end there. Just because you did it then, doesn't mean you can do it now. The premium, not elite, guys he competed against in college are now JAG on NFL teams if they made them at all. Most of the defenders can't make an NFL practice squad. He also played behind one of the best olines in college. The margin for difference and the NFL is much smaller. That's not saying BY can or cannot throw the deep ball effectively. JaMarcus Russell could throw 70 yards. He couldn't do it accurately in the NFL. Time will tell if BY can throw an accurate deep ball. To this point in time, he has not done that effectively. Whether that's play calling, clean pocket, open receivers, not being able to see over linemen, whatever, it's not being done yet. I don't give a poo about whether he has the physical ability to throw 50 yards. High school QBs can do that. I only care about can he do it at the NFL level against NFL defenses with consistency and we don't have that answer yet.
  20. A lot of the top receiving threats in the NFL aren't 1st round picks. Tyreek Hill - 5th round Davante Adams - 2nd AJ Brown - 2nd Amon Ra St Brown - 4th Keenan Allan - 3rd Cooper Kupp - 3rd Tee Higgins - 2nd and you could add Puka if you wanted in the 5th based on what he's already done. The list goes on. The one thing that makes all of these guys really special is elite separation. That's what creates a number 1, but you don't have to get them early. You do have to be able to find them though, and Fitts sucks at that. AT is on a pro bowl, possibly all pro pace right now, because even at 33, he can get open consistently. If I had to choose between a Chase and 2 JAGs or 3 ATs, I'd take the 3 ATs because they would make it easier on the QB. 3 guys that can get open are better than 1, but that's JMO.
  21. Here's my thought process though. Of all the high scoring offenses in the NFL, how many are really built around the run you into submission mentality vs run it to keep defenses honest? The top offenses all can run, but they're far more dangerous vs the pass than the run. KC, SF, Detroit, Miami, Philly. All can run, but the receiving game is what really opens that run threat up. Seems to me like we've just got a HC and we'll see about Brown, that doesn't know how to put pieces where they would work best.
