  1. Front 7 on D on paper concerns me quite a bit. Shaq is the only legit starter at LBer, Luvu could get there as he was great in a lesser role last year but it's yet to be seen how he'll do with significant snaps on D. DE is thin if Burns and YGM don't take steps forward and even if they do not much depth. DT a huge concern if Brown plays like he did last year, although I do like the Ioannidis acquisition.
  2. My guess is Arch winds up being a career journeyman fringe starter/backup. Would be cool though if he did continue in Peyton and Eli's footsteps as HoF starting QBs who win multiple SBs (for us of course).
  3. More embarrassing things happening for Charlotte sports, although personally I wanted D'Antoni much more than Atkinson so hopefully this plays out like it did for the Colts getting a much better HC after McDaniels pulled this poo on them. fug Kenny A
  4. “Pay it all, take Darnold, or keep your problem.” should be our response
  5. I don’t care for him or his show either but was the bolded really necessary?
  6. waiting for Rhule to trade for his old Baylor buddy Denzel Mims who seems to be on the way out in NYJ already... dude sucks but I fully expect this to happen sooner or later. At least we didn't waste a high draft pick on him a few years ago.
  7. Would be a great signing at this point in the offseason. Get it done Fitts
  8. Would be nice if we could somehow get Ayton or Gobert without giving up the picks. With Ayton a pending FA maybe Gordon ++ could get it done. Gobert much less likely without those picks
  9. Hire D'Antoni and get Gobert or Ayton and this team is easily a top 6 seed in the East next year. Not sure that group would have us contending for Championships at any point but we need to become a perennial playoff team ASAP or Melo is gonna bail and those moves would get us there in my opinion. As a perennial playoff team with a bonafide stud in Melo and hopefully Bridges emerging, we could actually attract other top talent and role player vets to come here in time. Gotta start somewhere and gotta do it soon or all the exciting pieces we have right now will blow up in our faces.
  10. I'm about as disappointed after that season as I could possibly be. That's 2 straight years of being a top 3-5 regular season team but getting knocked out in the 2nd round. Tampa is one thing, they've won the Cup the last 2 years. But to lose to the Rags at home in game 7 and get blown out in the process is just unacceptable. Something needs to change. I'd start with whoever the hell coaches our powerplay. Also trade Necas/futures for a star forward who can score. JT Miller would be intriguing. Also a big fan of Forsberg in Nashville who we could sign as a UFA but seems likely he'll re-sign with the Preds.
  11. Happy for him, but not a big fan of him as an announcer. He's better than most but I just hate announcers these days. The networks make them call it a certain way which just doesn't appeal to me. Continuously getting overly hyped when there is no reason for it. Sometimes you gotta just call it straight man. Also bullshit that he only gets it until Brady retires, fug Fox for that nonsense. Hope Greg can go and stick on another network as the #1 once that happens and that network does better than Fox.
  12. This type of thing makes me hate Tepper with a passion. fuging douche
  13. I don't want to get too excited knowing that as a fan of this team over the years we'll probably be letdown but man how fuging awesome would it be if this kid is a legit franchise QB and Icky is a legit franchise LT.
  14. Yeah I don't disagree but nobody has been calling our defense top 5... Top 10-15 I think is fair and is a tremendous quick turn around considering what our D was in 2019. I also have higher hopes for this year, largely because I think our offense will be able to play some more ball control and we may have some leads that can allow Snow to create some creative blitzes and pressure where I think he'll excel. Also Wilks is a HUGE (re)addition in my opinion, he'll do wonders with Chinn and the other DBs in blitzing, like he did with Mike Mitchell and company in 2013.
  15. Do people not remember how bad our D was before Snow came in? It was literally bottom 2 in the league. And then we proceeded to let multiple starters, the few who were actually good, leave in free agency and oh also the greatest MLB of all time retired in his prime. Snow has done a tremendous job with his defense, especially considering they've been on the field the majority of every game since our offense and special teams have been terrible under Rhule.
  16. fug Boston so happy to knock those fugers out and end their season. Let’s keep it rolling boys. I like our odds against PIT/NYR. Tampa/Toronto/Florida will be a real challenge though. If we get through that round I think we win it all regardless of who we would meet in the Finals.
  17. also do we have any idea if training camp will be in spartanburg again?
  18. same just like Jim Harbaugh. Hate the guys but man they are great frigging coaches and I want to fuging win.
  19. I've already been losing a ton of interest in the NFL, having to listen to/see this douche on certain games won't help. Will probably avoid any game he's calling unless we're playing in it and then may still mute it.
  20. - 5x 1st team all pro - 2x 2nd team all pro - DROY - DPOY All in just 8 seasons. He's pretty much a lock for first ballot HoF. Megatron was first ballot HoF with 3x 1st team all pro and 1x 2nd team all pro. Zero "POY" awards.
  21. At their peaks and in their primes Luke easy and it's not even a discussion. Total career sure give it to Lewis since he played longer and won Super Bowls but that's not exactly a fair discussion considering Luke willfully retired right in his prime like Barry Sanders and Calvin Johnson and he didn't have nearly as good of a team around him most of his career as Lewis did.
  22. Ickey and Corral plus all our other picks and cap space going forward. Watson would've been exciting but this is the better way to build a team, if we can do it well which is somewhat yet to be seen but I trust in Fitterer.
  23. Normally I'd say about 0 but Sam is terrible and Fitts has previous experience with his team throwing a 3rd round rookie right to the wolves so I'm saying 50% (voted 50-75). Also, less risk starting a rookie QB if we have a dominant OL and some solid weapons, which it's looking like we will. Dak is another example. Won't really know anything until camp though, he could look horrible and not ready at all once the pads come on. Who knows.
