What a snipe. We need him to keep up his play from so far this season, he's looking more like the Nino we traded for a few years ago than the struggling Nino of last year. Really liking that Trocheck/Necas/Nino line, I'd definitely keep them together and slot TT back in on the top line with Svech and Aho. Also, I think Lorentz has earned a spot in the bottom 6. Not sure who to replace when everyone's back healthy but he's shown much more than Marty, McGinn or Foegele have this year.

I can see both arguments. It may be better for him in the long run to not start this year, but if we are trying to win games and make the playoffs this year then we need to start him and have him playing 30-35+ minutes every night as he gives us our best chance to win.

A deal that hurts wouldn’t necessarily include Burns. Burns is the most important player on the team, we are not giving him up. We have plenty of other pieces we could involve in a trade that could get us Watson.

Not really, they have a ton of holes as it is. I highly highly doubt they get a Watt replacement in any Watson trade, regardless of whether it’s us or another team.

If Cam is willing to be a clear-cut backup, Buffalo is a no brainer for both sides. But I’m sure he’d rather compete to start somewhere like Washington or Chicago.

I wouldn’t say it confirms that at all. Less likely for sure but still possible they could draft a QB. Goff isn’t a franchise guy and I believe with the Rams still on the hook for most of the guarantees, the Lions could move on from him easily in a year or two.

Goff’s contract is one of the worst in the league, half of that price is just to get rid of it, not just to get Stafford. It’s a lot but the Rams should be seen as a leading contender to win the NFC next year. HUGE upgrade over Goff and the rest of their roster is rock solid.
