  1. Yeah defense was incredible, not that surprising with Penix playing terrible but we also completely bottled up Bijan which was a shocker to me and a great sign. The D still has several holes, I HATE the 3-4 and don't think Evero is any good -- BUT Brown and Horn are both legit superstar caliber players and now we're seeing some of the young guys' potential which is definitely encouraging. Also, aside from Etienne's fumble, our ST was absolutely lights out. Fitz perfect on XP/FGs of course but also our kickoffs were amazing -- both his placement on the kicks and our coverage getting there.
  2. He’s just awful. The garbage time last week and a win today will have more of the clowns out supporting him but he’s a terrible football player and needs to be gone asap
  3. Yeah Smitty was like 5’9 and excelled at this. I don’t mean high jump balls but contested throws in general.
  4. Manning had a hell of an arm. Bryce looks like he's putting everything his body has to offer into throws that go 15 yards through the air. And the height matters, as others have mentioned dude is jumping on half his throws.
  5. Yeah, and the thing is I completely agree with you about letting QBs develop and sit and learn and I've been a huge advocate for doing that deliberately and being patient while ignoring the pressure to start a young rookie. I think the best way forward at the QB position is to get a somewhat established fringe or mid-tier starter vet in FA or trade and stick with him while drafting a QB relatively high and having him sit a year or even two. The Packers, and Chiefs method. But all that said, there are very very few examples of QBs who struggled in both their first 2 seasons who became legit franchise QBs. Guys like Darnold and Geno Smith are breaking that mold a tiny little bit, although jury is very much out on whether those guys are actual "franchise QBs" or guys who would be capable of winning a SB even in a great situation. But historically and even recent history suggests that if a QB doesn't look the part within his first 2 full seasons of starting then it isn't going to happen and you should just move on. And Bryce now very clearly has not looked the part into his 3rd season, and with a ton of investment on offense and a "QB guru" coaching staff. The excuses have completely dried up with him. It sucks but it's the reality Bryce fans need to accept at this point. I don't know why teams who have been searching for their QB forever keep sticking with mediocrity for way too long. If they haven't shown franchise QB level by year 3, move on and rinse and repeat and draft another guy. Keep doing it until someone sticks. The other reality is that coaching and front office matter more in the big picture than who your QB is at that moment. Just look at the success Andy Reid had with Alex friggin Smith as his QB in KC before Mahomes showed up and the Eagles the last decade or so. The sole focus from Tepper should be on building out a steady and consistent top tier front office (who then hires coaching staff) who has a clear vision and plan for the team, including the future at the QB position. Not being hands on meeting with guys like Bryce and CJ before the draft and having dinners with their families, etc. I digress
  6. There are very very very few silver linings on this team, and it's really just a handful of players. I have zero trust or confidence in any member of the front office or coaching staff, frankly.
  7. Tet with Jameis puts up 1400 yards
  8. I was done with him the moment his hiring was announced. Completely bonkers decision to promote someone from the Fitterer front office. Everyone involved with any of those decisions under Fitterer should've been canned along with him for a complete overhaul of the room. Tepper is such a clown
  9. He’s a joke and a terrible hire yet again from Tepper but I think he will get a chance next year with a QB he handpicks. Vet or rookie. But leash will be short next year
  10. More than benched lol, just cut his ass. Probably the worst WR this team has ever drafted.
  11. lol he runs right into the defender on 4th down to take a sack
  12. Yeah that is obviously grounding. Bryce is fine during garbage time but now in meaningless snaps back to being by far the worst QB in the league
  13. Roiughing the passer WTF somebody on this ref squad must have a ton of money on the Panthers
  14. LMAO what a clusterfug of a game. Bryce is so bad but got bailed out there somehow
  15. Got the onside kick conversion, no longer garbage time = Bryce Young turns to poo again
  16. Can't help but just laugh at how terrible this team is.
  17. Night and fuging day. Rhule sucked don’t get me wrong but we were mostly competitive and watchable week in week out.
  18. Find it absolutely hilarious watching dudes celebrate a non-TD for like 15 seconds. Such an egregiously obvious penalty there and then for him to whine to the refs? lol pathetic
