  1. Apparently no one read the article past the clickbait title… their team president literally said there are a million things that are more of a priority than team name. So no change is imminent lol. they never should’ve changed it from Redskins but once they went to Washington Football Team they should’ve stuck with that
  2. Now I am disappointed we didn’t trade Bryce to the “Commanders” for their 1st
  3. lol I think the last few games scoring like 25 in each first half has shown that Clifford has to go regardless. Respect the dude but he's just not the coach this team needs. Glad to see the D playing better but it's been at the significant expense of scoring. We need a coach who can figure out both and actually develop our guys. Clifford has never been known for young player development
  4. Neither is really an NFL starter. Young at least had much more upside coming out of college so I'd stick with him.
  5. Not gonna get further into it as this isn’t a Chiefs board but it’s quite clear you haven’t followed the Chiefs and their moves closely
  6. Hill was still on his rookie deal, then they paid him on a shorter term deal and didn’t win again until he left. They absolutely made the right call letting him go, they’ve got 2 SBs to show for it lol and the most recent one with significant significant contributions on the defensive side of the ball from players they got from trading Hill away. If they kept Hill their OL would be an absolute mess and Chris Jones probably would’ve been gone already. Paying WRs massive contracts just makes zero sense
  7. When is the last time a highly paid WR won the SB? Pass on him due to the assets and cap space we’d have to give up. Great player but not our answer at WR in my view
  8. Plenty of time for grades to change but as of right now, Fs across the board
  9. yeah it very well may have been, I hope not but wouldn't surprise me.
  10. admitting Bryce isn't going to work out would be a good sign for this franchise's future under Morgan/Canales, IMO
  11. I have never liked him either. Just dot connecting that would happen eventually and it’s a slow part of the offseason…
  12. we'll see, I highly doubt it. Those TD stats are as empty as Kaepernick's last season, and teams know that, 3k yards is a joke. And first year in Denver was terrible.
  13. Russ won't be cratering anyone's cap space or getting any term on his next deal, lol.
  14. Getting out ahead of it early because you know this will come up eventually. He'll be cut by the Broncos this offseason and Canales coached him directly for 4 years (and was WRs coach before that since before Wilson got drafted), so there are significant ties to him. Dalton is under contract but can easily be cut. Would you consider signing Russ? Yay or nay? Personally not a fan but I could see us considering him because of Canales' ties to him. Would probably come cheap and could actually push Bryce more than Dalton at this point. But I wouldn't really want him in the locker room and his play on the field with the Broncos has been uninspiring to say the least.
  15. honestly... what other player puts up multiple 40+ point games AND multiple 0 point games? never disliked him but man it's been frustrating watching his disappearing act year in and year out.
  16. not even engaging any more lol
  17. He led us to the playoffs 4 out of 5 years and a SB while healthy, get the fug outta here
  18. lol nice spin job. CMC averaged just 3.6 yards per carry and had 30 touches that game, 7 of those “jag” throws were to McCaffrey and many of his yards came on a trick play. Shanahan had some questionable play calling and game management decisions but you can’t say he “forgot” about McCaffrey. He rode him pretty damn hard despite not being efficient as a runner
  19. He's eligible next year, he's gotta be 1st ballot right? An easy recent comparison of elite player who retired early in his prime like Luke is Megatron who was 1st ballot a few years ago: Megatron: 3x 1st team all-pro, 1x 2nd team all-pro, single season receiving yards record, 6x pro bowler, just 2 playoff games both losses Luke: 5x 1st team all-pro, 2x 2nd team all-pro, 7x pro bowler, DROY, DPOY. Super Bowl appearance and elite play in that run Luke pretty much blows him out of the water with nearly twice as many All Pro selections and the DPOY. Also, not sure how they calculate it but this website does a "Legends Score" which has Luke as one of the top contenders for being 1st ballot HoF, his score/season is even higher than Brady's and the highest of all current HoF contenders (including retired players eligible and not yet eligible for the hall) https://futurefootballlegends.com/Top_Contenders/
  20. I think Luke is the best 4-3 MLB to ever play the game and I'll take that to my grave unless someone in the future rises to that level. He was basically the perfect player and there wasn't a single aspect of the position he did not excel at. And he could go toe to toe calling defensive audibles with the absolute best QBs out there. The chess matches between him and Brees, Rodgers, Manning, Brady were just something else to watch. Man I miss him, and I know exactly how the Lions fans feel having a HoF hang them up in the middle of his prime like Sanders, Megatron.
  21. As a Panthers fan who rightly hates the 49ers I was pulling against him and laughing at his failures in the SB, but I really do like the guy and hope he gets another opportunity somewhere else. I've said before many times that I don't think he's a great DC, but he is one of the absolute best DB/secondary coaches and one of the best assistant HCs you can find. He's a great leader/motivator and great teacher, but not the best x's and o's guy or situational play caller. His defense here as DC with largely the same talent was much worse than McDermott's, I was shocked he got a HC offer so soon then but clearly AZ viewed him as a stopgap and never gave him a fair shot.
  22. yeah I see what you're saying, although Cam isn't anywhere near the blowhard Shannon is, he has unique opinions and a unique way of expressing them but his delivery is way different than a Shannon or Stephen A
  23. maybe but even if Cam was in on that idea I doubt a network gives Sharpe/Cam an alternate broadcast. Like it or not Mannings are a much easier sell to average NFL fans.
