Cross should have always been the choice since he has elite LT talent. But the Carolina fan base always wants the home team player and so we wound up with a G playing LT. And it shows

Reich and Wilks suck. Both can be true

How's it going for you? He may have been a horny old man with family issues, but we had a few highlights like 2 SB. We totally have blown since he left. I'd rather have a wining record every other year than this poo show.

In his defense, and I'm not a fan, his OL is awful, he has mediocre RBs and below average WR that get no real separation. It's almost impossible at this point to evaluate him. Having said that Stroud is proving why he should have been our choice

This year is lost and there is no fixing it short term.
Fire Fitterer. Have any of his moves panned out? Have his evaluations of talent panned out? He should be gone today.
Fire the scouting department. Our talent evaluation is the worst in the league and so is the product on the field.
Fire Reich. There was no reason he should have ever been hire to start with.
Elevate Evero to HC. He is going to be a HC next year anyway so see if he is a good fit.
Consider starting Andy Dalton. Our OL is putrid, our skill positions are the worst in the NFL and watching Young struggle the way he is may help him in the long run if he can catch a breather. Its too early to call Young a bust, but there is no doubt after watching Stroud, all the mental and recognition testing is BS. You play on the field and he look great.
It's not a solution, but it's a start.

He is an NFL guard. Always was but no too many homers in the Carolinas wanted him to be something he wasnt.

I'll give the defense credit that they keep us in games even with all the injuries.
Our special teams are good and no complaints.
Then there is the offense. An awful choice at QB that cost us dearly in draft picks. An OL that can't run block and isn't any better pass blocking. We don't have anything but marginal talent at our skill positions and a qb who thinks he is still at Alabama and has 10 seconds to wait for someone to get open.
Fitterer hasn't made us better with all of his trades. He should be fired immediately. Reich should never have been hired and should be fired. We can't fire the owner so we are screwed.
BTW, CJ Stroud is the offensive rookie of the month in September and today has a 2TD 300 yd day. He is going to be a star, like a lot of us told everyone while we have a dink and dunk midget.
This franchise is cursed

Stroud was always the safer pick due to the durability issues we saw coming. Game 3 and our QB is already injured. I'm hoping for the best because that's all I can do. Even Stroud would look pedestrian with our lack of blocking and skill position players.

Well we went for the circus appeal. We have Webster as starting qb

Anti-Brycers enjoy the huddle this week. Not a great game. Disappointed our coaches haven’t been able to scheme anybody open. Mingo looks uncomfortable catching passes. Not just the drop but even his big catch on the final drive he was bobbling. We just don’t have playmakers it’s going to be rough for Bryce but he’s looked ok all things considered. Optimistic for the future, all you negative Nancy’s have fun whining I’m sure it’s very enjoyable to constantly whine.
I told everyone when we drafted him he wasn't the OM receiver that Brown and Metcalf are. He avoids contact and shys from it. He's another jag

Was not a fan of getting Bryce. Having said that, we have no skill position talent and a mediocre OL. Noatter how many times we try to say our LT is special, he's not. He's too slow and is an NFL guard. Worst WR corps in the league and can't tell about Sanders because we can't rum block. TE is MIA. Getting Bryce set us back for years
-
No game breakers on offense, a rookie qb and getting gashed by a one dimensional team that can't throw the ball. Oh and no 1st rounder next year. Going to be a long year

We should have signed Zappe from their practice squad. Out troll the biggest troll in Bill B and let him be stuck with Corral.
Zappe is a better QB

I think that's the standard line when we look like crap.

Corral was a good system qb in college. He isn't a starting pro qb and like several guys we thought were great pickups, he isn't. Our scouting evaluations are mediocre at best
-
So it comes from California and New York, places so devoid of common sense that they would sue God over his creation. Call me unimpressed

Solid C. Had chances to add better talent but reached on a couple and panicked on another. All of that is on paper. In 3 years, we should know how we really did.
-
Ricks went to Philly and Tyrus Wheat went to Dallas. No word on Pool. Would still love to get a TE in for a look
-
Nice pick. Helps with depth and is probably a true 3rd round grade
-
Get Bumper Pool, Eli Rick's and Tyrus Wheat. All 3 would make the roster

I guess you didn’t hear the news that Rhule was fired. Lighten up. We got our franchise QB and Mingo is going to be a stud. I don’t know jack about the Oregon kid except he is boom or bust and I can live with that for a third rounder.
Again I've watch Mingo in person since HS. He is going to be average. Nothing more, but I guess you can go watch his highlights on YouTube. He hates contact and when hit hard early, he gives you alligator arms. But you think he's a stud. Stupid

What team has built a contender with 1 draft?
If we get the QB pick right none of those other positions matter.
I would hope you get at least 3 starters and 2 to 3 back ups. It's not happening in this one

Yeah, you needed more that Bryce. We had legitimate needs for edge, DT, olb, ilb, cb, G. So far we drafted a 25 year old guy that wasn't considered a 3rd round pick and even if we wanted him, he should have been there at 93. So as far as meeting real needs, we got a qb. And at 93, the Steelers took TE Washington. Just don't see what we have accomplished outside of QB

Send Tepp a resume. I’m sure he will hire you to run the next draft.
Seeing with screw up drafts like this, we will be drafting top 10 for a while

And the ones of us who wanted someone other than Young were told, no everyone says he's the best qb in this draft. No, not even close and we gave up a ton to get a guy that realistically couldn't beat out Andy Dalton if the truth be known
