I think it's a good deal. -
I could go many routes with this question. I would love to see the Panthers get redemption for 2003 against the Patriots. I think the headline Newton vs. Luck is appealing. However, I could say that my ideal Superbowl would have to be Panthers vs. Bengals. Imagine the media trying to find good things to say about both teams for two weeks. What is your ideal super bowl?

Technically Tuesday was the first practice. Just saying.

David Newton gives the nod to Stephen Hill, mentions Corey Brown.
Mol3m4n replied to top dawg's topic in Carolina Panthers
Hill has the height and weight that Steve Smith doesn't have too. Measurables aren't everything. -
I disagree on one thing, Jeremy. I saw a refined passer from the pocket last season, but injuries and a bad supporting cast got the better off those mechanics that were shown.

Very much disagree. Tolbert is an expensive short yardage rb. There are better options.

Working.

There may be some disappointed people in this thread come January.

6. I'm cautiously optimistic.

But Jimmy Graham.....

I love Stewart, the guy had just spent a lot of time on an exercise bike. The guy is injury prone.

That Other Panther Receiver....Jarrett Boykin

Like last year when he had Cobb and Nelson? -

Read what I post. I'm trying to prove the point that it isn't obvious that Boykin is clearly better than Brown. Come training camp anything could happen, I just know a lot of Brown haters could be disappointed. -

Not necessarily cherry picking, just bringing am extra stat into a point that people thought was obvious. Obviously it was not obvious. -
Okay, then why didn't JJ Watt get it? He was the best player in football. Yet for some "unknown reason", a cornerback that is arguably top 5 at his position in 2013 got the cover. Not the best player in football. Not the DPOY Luke Kuechly. But a dude that has been argued as the number 1 corner AND the number six corner. Funny how being the best gets you the madden cover, right?

I'll play along. Jarrett Boykin Average receiving yards per season: 243 yards. Corey Brown Average receiving yards per season: 296 yards. Jarrett Boykin rookie season: 5 catches, 27 yards. Corey Brown rookie season: 21 catches, 296 yards. A majority of Boykin's stays came from his second season. He then fell off dramatically in 2014. Corey Brown has yet to enter his second season. -

So he's been in the nfl longer than Brown? Because that's really the device you are using. That doesn't make an nfl receiver better. Using your logic: Jason Avant has proven more in the nfl than OBJ. Avant is the better receiver. -
I don't believe so. Sure his stats were fantastic. He's a great receiver. But like fans voted for Sherman because of the rant, fans voted for OBJ after the hype train was started because of his catch.

How many true, lifelong Panthers fans are actually out there?
