Bills GM Doug Whaley mentioned that they hoping to re-sign veteran ILB Brandon Spikes in the coming weeks. “Hopefully get Brandon Spikes back,” Whaley said, per Vic Carucci of the Buffalo News. The market for inside linebackers has finally started to pick up in recent days, and Spikes is clearly among the best available players at the position. 49ers GM Trent Baalke said that Spikes is among the free agent linebackers that they’re considering right now, per Matt Barrows. Darren Wolfson of ESPN 1500 recently reported that the Vikings have “lukewarm” interest in Spikes. Spikes, 27, was forced to sign a one-year, $3 million contract with the Bills last year after finding very limited interest on the open market. In 2014, he appeared in all 16 games and recorded 54 tackles, one sack, a forced fumble and three pass defines. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the N0. 13 inside linebacker out of 60 qualifying players due in large part to a very solid rating as a run-defender.

NFL Notes: Chiefs, Cowboys, Raiders, & Ravens Chiefs Chiefs chairman Clark Hunt mentioned that he’s optimistic that they will be able to get a long-term contract worked out with franchised OLB Justin Houston at some point. “I’ve been very consistent in saying that we not only value Justin as a football player, that we not only value Justin as a person and leader, and we want him to be a Chief for life,” Hunt said, via Terez A. Paylor of the Kansas City Star. “And the negotiating process in these type of situations, as (general manager) John (Dorsey) has said, takes some patience. You just have to have patience. It will work out.” Cowboys Cowboys owner Jerry Jones mentioned that they’ll have to start looking for a future quarterback at some point in the near future. “We do have to look to the future relative to quarterback,’’ Jones said, via the Dallas Morning News. “It’s starting a time frame where a guy could come in and be a good backup. “Look at how Romo evolved into the guy he is today. He did a little time with the clip board.’’ Raiders Bill Williamson of ESPN takes a look a the remaining Raiders’ free agents and where things stand with Oakland. While Williamson mentions that the Raiders have told CB Tarell Brown that they want to get younger, there’s at least a chance he could be back on a “team-friendly” contract. Williams doesn’t expect the Raiders to re-sign CB Carlos Rogers or TE David Ausberry. According to Williamson, the Raiders to looking to find a better receive than Vincent Brown. Oakland apparently has no interest in re-signing RB Kory Sheets. Ravens Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun reports that Louisville WR DeVante Parker will visit the Ravens prior to the draft.

Cowboys in negotiations with Greg Hardy?
NcPsa10 replied to UNCrules2187's topic in Carolina Panthers
David Moore of the Dallas Morning News reports that the Cowboys and free agent DE Greg Hardy could have an agreement finalized by Wednesday -
NFL Notes: Bears, Dolphins, Eagles, & Packers Bears Bears signed LS Thomas Gafford to a one-year contract. Dolphins Maurkice and Mike Pouncey have both played with WR Mike Wallace during in recent years and were asked on Tuesday what they thought about Wallace and his recent trade to the Vikings. “In my opinion, he’s a coward,” Maurkice Pouncey said in an interview with CBS4, via Andrew Abramson. “I never want a guy on my team like that to walk out on your band of brothers.” “Obviously our organization felt the way about some guys and they got those guys out of our football team,” Mike Pouncey said during the interview. “I felt like it was the right move for everybody.” Eagles An Eagles’ official tells Albert Breer that QB The Golden Calf of Bristol did “fine” during his tryout with Philadelphia on Monday. Packers Former Packers WR Greg Jennings on SI now LIVE said he would “definitely reconcile” with Green Bay and added that they’re a “great organization” with “great fans.” Jennings added that he was disappointed with how he handled his departure, and admitted that his ego was hurt during the process.

Giants are hosting Jets free agent DT Kenrick Ellis for a visit on Tuesday. Ellis, 27, is a former third round pick of the Jets back in 2011. He has played out his four-year, $2,622,500 contract with the Jets and is now among the best available defensive tackles in free agency. In 2014, he appeared in 14 games for the Jets and recorded 12 tackles and a sack. Pro Football Focus has him down for playing just 158 snaps last year, but he did grade out as a solid run-stopper.

NFL Notes: Chris Borland, 49ers, Bengals, Cowboys, & Dolphins Chris Borland Chris Borland‘s father, Jeff, discussed his sons decision to walk away from the NFL after just one year in the league. “Oh, I don’t know. I think maybe it’s one of those affirming things as a parent, you know, that maybe somewhere along the line you accidentally did something right,” Borland’s father told FOX Sports by phone Tuesday morning. “Chris has had a great network of friends and family, beginning with his sister and brothers. So when it came time to make the decision, the support for his decision was unanimous and very positive. And I think maybe that helped him do it. “He’s been quite introspective. He’s reasoned it out on his own,” Jeff Borland said. “The thing he’s repeated is the decision itself was simple. You’re just not made to take kind of contact, that kind of trauma to our heads. If this goes on, it can’t be good. “It’s all of the things you talk about around it — the money, the team, the big stage, bright lights — all the things that go with it that make the decision harder. The fact of the matter is you’re being privileged to do something that most people don’t get the chance to do. And you can’t forget the fact that playing the game is fun. It just has repercussions.” 49ers 49ers have scheduled an official visit with Mississippi State LB Benardrick McKinney following the news that LB Chris Borland is not returning. McKinney reportedly has visits lined up with the Cowboys, Broncos and Texans. Bengals Michael Johnson‘s new four-year, $20 million contract with the Bengals can be worth $24 million if he records 10 sacks in 2015. Cowboys ESPN’s Adam Schefter points out that if the Cowboys are able to get DE Greg Hardy under contract, it would “greatly diminish” their ability to acquire RB Adrian Peterson. Dolphins The issue on the Dolphins in regards to retaining TE Charles Clay is the fact that DT Ndamukong Suh‘s salary and cap figure will spike in 2016. With this in mind, the Dolphins will need to workaround his contract moving forward.

Browns Reportedly Offered Pick No. 19 Overall For QB Sam Bradford Update: NFL Media’s Charley Casserly reiterated on Monday’s edition of NFL AM that the Browns offered a first-round pick for for QB Sam Bradford. However, Casserly isn’t sure if this deal was offered to the Eagles or the Rams or both. According to Adam Caplan, the Browns specifically offered their No. 19 overall pick for Bradford.... If that's me i take that 19th pick and run away fast never looking back ,,

Seahawks DE Michael Bennett is seeking a trade to the Falcons and a new contract. The Falcons hired former Seahawks DC Dan Quinn and could really use a solid defensive end like Bennett. Bennett, 29, signed four-year, $32 million contract that included $16 million guaranteed with the Seahawks in March of last year. He still has another three years remaining on the agreement to go along with base salaries of $6 million (2015), $4 million (2016), and $6 million (2017). According to OverTheCap.com, trading Bennett would free up $2 million in cap space next year while also create $6 million in dead money. In 2014, Bennett appeared in all 16 games and recorded 39 tackles, seven sacks, and a forced fumble Update....... Terry Blount of ESPN is denying the report that Seahawks DE Michael Bennett is seeking a trade to the Falcons and a new contract. According to Blount, the team has no knowledge of Bennett wanting to be traded.

Seahawks will host veteran DL Chris Canty for a visit on Thursday. Canty previously visited with the Jets a few weeks ago, but there hasn’t been any reported news since then regarding the former Giants and Ravens defensive lineman. The Ravens cut Canty loose in a move that cleared $2.66 million in cap space for Baltimore. Canty had reportedly been contemplating retirement, but he’s been working out regularly since the season ended and intends to play next year. This is usually the point in free agency where the Seahawks begin kicking the tires on some potential under-priced veteran defensive linemen. Last year, they signed former Vikings DT Kevin Williams to a contract, so this could be something to keep an eye on for Seattle. Canty, 32, appeared in 11 games for the Ravens and recorded 33 tackles, a half sack, a forced fumble and two pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 37 defensive end in a 3-4 defense out of 47 qualifying players.

Bill Williamson was told by a source that there’s “not a chance” WR Denarius Moore is back with the Raiders. Follow Bill Williamson@BWilliamsonESPN Asked person in know if D. Moore could somehow land back with #Raiders: “Not a chance.” Never say never, but lots would have to change.

The Jets have expressed interest in free agent WR Stevie Johnson, but he has reportedly narrowed his choices to the Patriots and Chargers and intends to make a decision by Tuesday morning.

NFL Notes: Dorial Green-Beckham, 49ers, Patriots, Seahawks, & Vikings Dorial Green-Beckham A high-level scouting source is saying a lot of teams are scared of Oklahoma WR Dorial Green-Beckham. He still expects someone to gamble on his ability. 49ers 49ers new RB Reggie Bush receives a one-year contract from San Francisco. Although, the official terms of the agreement aren’t available right now. Patriots Patriots HC Bill Belichick issued a statement regarding the news that DL Vince Wilfork has signed with the Texans. Few players reached or will ever reach the special level of Vince Wilfork. He is a great champion and one of the classiest people I have ever been around – just a kind, genuine and giving person who was all about our team, football, winning and bringing joy to others. There may have never been anyone at his position with as much strength, toughness, intelligence, instinctiveness and athleticism. He is the best defensive linemen I ever coached, an all-time great Patriot whose place on our team will be missed but whose remarkable career as a Patriot will be remembered forever. Seahawks Seahawks are a team to keep an eye on for WR Dorial Green-Beckham should he drop into the latter portion of the second-round. Seahawks were “digging into” Green-Beckham before they traded their first-round pick to the Saints for TE Jimmy Graham.

Ahh i see what you are saying yea I posted this at same time the topic on main forum got posted , I did not think anything Tebo related was worth posting in main forum lol ,,, Posted Today, 02:52 PM Former Broncos and Patriots QB The Golden Calf of Bristol is working out today for the Philadelphia Eagles. So if Philadelphia decides to sign The Golden Calf of Bristol, he would be reunited with Mark Sanchez. The Golden Calf of Bristol, 27, has reportedly been working on revamping his throwing motion in the hope of getting another shot in the NFL. The Broncos used the No. 25 overall pick on The Golden Calf of Bristol back in 2010. He lasted just two years with the team before he was traded to the Jets. The Patriots brought him in for the 2013 training camp, but he was among their final roster cuts. He last appeared in an NFL game during the 2012 season when he completed six of eight passing attempts for 39 yards to go along with 32 rush attempts for 102 yards and no touchdowns. UPDATE.............................................................................................................................................................................. The Golden Calf of Bristol‘s workout with the Eagles has concluded without an offer. The Eagles have no plans to sign The Golden Calf of Bristol at this point in time, unless something changes.
