Something tells me you were not doing that ‘it should count’ thing the week he had an INT called back for a penalty.

I know better than to think these gymnastics will stop. This is what we’re gonna get all off season around here.

Yeah bc there were a couple INTs he’s had called back bc of penalties and drops by the defense. One call back was a pick six against the jags in week one I believe.

    Weeks 9-18

You people talk about Herbert likes he’s a top 5 QB in the league

Since drafting Justin Herbert the chargers have drafted:

    1st round RB: 1

    3rd round RB: 1

    1st round WR: 1

    2nd round WR: 2

    3rd round WR: 1

1st round OL: 3 (Two tackles and guard)

    Playoffs wins: 0

When it’s just you and the same 4-5 going around pie’ing each others posts that should tell you something.

Never said he was top 5, he’s certainly not overrated. You keep telling me when guys got drafted like that matters. For one, two of the first round OL you refer have been hurt most of the year. His other lineman have been banged up and he’s been running for his life back there in the pocket and still playing well. His rb in round 1 missed most of this year. As you are aware, guys get drafted high and disappoint, Bryce young is a perfect example.

On the graph, don’t pay attn to our OTs on there (pretty good btw) pay attn to Herbert’s.

All that guy has is blaming everyone on down to the waterboy when the Panthers lose and Bryce falters and telling others they don't know football or they aren't real fans. The funny thing is we used to have contentious back and forth arguments like this over Cam Newton. But even though Cam's accuracy was sometimes iffy you never doubted the sheer talent he displayed and he showed he was plenty capable of elevating the pieces around him from time to time if need be. We do not have that at all here. In fact everything has to go perfect on our end and the other team has to make multiple mistakes just for us to win close games with Bryce Young. That is the reality as he enters year 4. These people who want to defend him don't have to like it. But firing off stupid accusations and labels onto others is foolishness for 3 years ago not today. It's time to live in the now. And right now Bryce Young needs to unequivocally shīt or get off the pot. And with us hosting a home playoff game for the first time in a decade it is absolutely now or never. No more excuses.

It’s not just this board, prominent beat writers/reporters, even some for this team, constantly defend him and always have something to say when he has a decent “Bryce game”. BUT when he passes for under 100 yards….crickets.

    "bryce just needs more weapons.........."

Needed to win the last two weeks, must win, to get into playoffs, lost both. People on here and X are acting like byce got them into playoffs lol. Don’t get me wrong he was decent Saturday though.

expect the bryce guys like car123 to slowly creep in this week ramping up the hype after disappearing after crap games

That’s one thing I’ve noticed, reasonable people with Bryce takes are here after every game, Bryce Stans are not.

Inconsistency. I’d like for Bryce to improve on that next season.

It’s going to be year 4, no other first overall qb as been given this much grace, at a certain point, it’s hindering the team. He was supposed to ball out on a rookie contract like Russ did in Seattle so we could sign a bunch of solid FAs and win before we give him a mega deal. Instead, we are going to pickup his fifth year so we can see if he’s the guy or not. (Even though it’s the end of year three and we should know that by now)

Yes, he’s a backup level player like Trubisky.

I keep telling myself I’m stopping myself from Bryce discourse, but here I am, definition of insanity.

Trubisky is not better than Bryce. Trubisky’s prime was about the same as current Bryce.

At this stage in his career, Trubisky was better. Will young surpass him? It’s possible.

I do not care if his stats come in the 1st 2nd 3rd 4th quarters or overtime.  Making plays is making plays.

If they had shown up in the first second or third, panthers would have won yesterday and wouldn’t have limped into playoffs after losing two weeks in a row (both games would have clinched the playoffs)

    the Carolina Panthers

    27th ranked O in yards

    27th ranked O in pts

    26th ranked pass O

mid seems a tad on the generous side

Yeah but their defense was 22 in epa or some poo, and Bryces YMCA on a full moon in November with the ambient temperature being 55 is 100.3!!!

He is Tim Teb0w variant and his defenders are doing a Skip impression on repeat.

no offense all game.  Essentially every week.  Then a random drive in the 4th quarter occurs in a game that makes little sense of how we still happen to be in it for it to matter

It’s going to be the same thing next year and they will extend him.
