No, it doesn't. It says a lot about how little some folks on here understand how the younger crowd lives these days. It's not what I would have done at age 37 either, but it's also not something that should be considered incriminating for a 25 year old today and I imagine it's more common than you would think among younger players these days. Your argument is like if an Uber driver accused Watson of assaulting them saying "it's irresponsible of him to use uber instead of driving his own car." It's 2021; things are done differently now, especially among younger people. As I've said, it's entirely possible Watson is guilty of wrongdoing here, but there is nothing in the texts released so far that is truly incriminating. Add that to the behavior of this lawyer (not to mention his history of shady tactics and outright lies regarding cases) and there is at least as much reason to be skeptical as there is to be leery of these accusations. Certainly the fact that he used Instagram to set up massages is not a reason in and of itself to be suspect.

Would you have preferred a text saying "hey sorry I slapped you with my dick; we cool?"
-
lol what? This is how younger folks are doing things now. There's nothing wrong with setting something like this up on Instagram. How many companies/individuals do business on social media these days? Just because he's an NFL star means he can't?

I'm sorry, but if anything those texts do more to clear Watson than anything. Why would he rub his dick on her and then send an incriminating text after the fact apologizing and offering to work together again? Maybe this batshit crazy lawyer does have some actual evidence of wrongdoing, but these texts ain't it. Sounds like, at worst, a misunderstanding.

Report: The Panthers are "locked on Watson"
CatalystNX replied to MVPccaffrey's topic in Carolina Panthers
Somewhere, a single tear trikcles down Mr. Scot's face. -
I'd take Jackson on a 1-year deal for sure.

The quarterback carousel has broken down

Teddy for a box of spiders. -
My best draft so far...
-
You're not wrong, but there's also the fact that the Jets can just draft Zach Wilson at #2 and use the other picks they have to build around him. They might find that preferable to giving up a ton of picks for Watson.
-
I'd trade Brown well before Burns or Chinn.

Mr. Scot is Teddy Bridgewater. Only explanation.

ESPN Predicts Watson to be the Panthers starter in 2021
CatalystNX replied to Big Sexy's topic in Carolina Panthers
The Jets and Dolphins are also in a FAR better position than we are to draft a young franchise QB without having to trade up. They may not be willing to give up as much since they can just stay where they are and draft Wilson/Fields/Lance. Some of y'all are acting like Jerry Richardson still runs this team. Tepper is going to make this happen if there's any chance at all a deal can be done. -
Eric Shelton (the next, next, next big thing... that never was) Nate Salley (was a 'future starter' for his entire rookie contract) Jason Carter (tore it up that one preseason, then tore his ACL) Kendal Moorehead (started so strong, then just kind of disappeared after a few years) Michael Gaines (remember the Buffalo game-winning TD in '05?) Jason Kyle (eternity's long snapper)

Carolina Panthers Top 3 Offseason Priorities
CatalystNX replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
I wonder if Mario Williams would be willing to sign a 1 or 2 year deal (relatively) team-friendly in order to have a shot at a championship late in his career? -
Carolina Panthers Top 3 Offseason Priorities

Jeremy, what do you think the chances are of DG actually putting some decent money into a pass rusher in free agency? Seems to go against the model he's established thusfar. -
It's week one. Crazy poo happens sometimes. The best teams don't always win.

Win a framed and autographed print of "Luke in the Rain"
CatalystNX replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
- If Luke Kuechly was the loch ness monster, there would be a sighting every Sunday. - If Luke Kuechly were a UFO, offensive players would be Roswell, New Mexico. - If Luke Kuechly were Bigfoot, he wouldn't be as good in coverage. - If Luke Kuechly were a ghost, he'd scare the poo out of kids just like he does QB's. - If Luke Kuechly were the illuminati, his all-seeing eye would... still see everything the offense is doing. - If Luke Kuechly were on our football team... oh wait. @JayCatalyst -
