  1. Unfortunately, a thread got locked and labeled as a false report recently based on a jumpy huddle member posting a tweet from a guy on twitter which referenced an interview from April 14. The April 14 podcast clip was used to discredit an article by Bob McGinn, who has been writing an NFL draft series for 39 years both online and in print for respected news organizations. McGinn’s article was posted today, April 21. The podcast clip from April 14 was of the co-founder of the S2 test saying that the leaked scores for the test at that time were fake. How that gets applied to scores NFL executives talk about in McGinn’s article an entire week later, your guess is as good as mine. McGinn has been around a long time and has a lot more credibility than Landon on Twitter and panthergoat guy. The McGinn article in question actually consisted mostly of quotes from current NFL executives, from the NFC and the AFC. Here’s some snippets: ”Multiple sources said Young’s total score was 98% whereas Stroud’s total score was 18%” ”When another executive was informed that Stroud scored extremely low, he said that it confirmed what he had seen on tape.” ”…executive said. “If you get a high score as a quarterback it’s not saying you’re going to be a great player. But if you get a low score, it’s 100% - none of the quarterbacks that got a low score became good players. ”The benchmark is 80. Eighty and above is good. Stroud was 18. It’s incredibly terrible. He’s going to be off (some team’s) boards. He will not be picked by those teams.” ”Despite the S2 results, a survey of 16 evaluators asking them for their choice as the quarterback with the best chance to bust showed Stroud behind Richardson and Levis. The bust vote count was eight for Richardson, five for Levis, two for Stroud, and one for Young.” So I ask you. Which of these things is more likely? 1. Bob McGinn, journalist for many decades, worked for Green Bay Press Gazette, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, The Athletic, etc. is lying through his teeth about everything and made it all up. 2. Said guy above did in fact talk to the NFL execs, 16 evaluators, etc. and they all got their stories together about what the test scores were and lied to him. 3. Landon on Twitter and panthersgoat are full of poo.
  2. Anybody on Twitter want to ask Landon Oliver why he’s using a week old interview and acting like it’s talking about a leak from today? Seems pretty shady to me idk. Also, I thought the blue check marks were going away? Here’s the podcast episode, you can see the date is April 14.
  3. Maybe it wouldn’t come up if you didn’t lie about it every time you make a thread.
  4. Hey just FYI the podcast with the S2 guy was a week ago and was not in reference to the scores leaked in the locked thread. I’m not saying what’s true and what’s false, but using a quote from a week ago and making out like it is in reference to scores leaked today is wrong.
  5. He said that a week ago it has nothing to do with these specific leaked scores. I’m not saying what’s true and what’s fake, but that particular quote means nothing in regards to today’s leak.
  6. Ooo, here we go with the name calling. So you made this thread completely independent of the Stroud test score leaks from today? Is that what we are to believe?
  7. This has already been posted and discussed in the other thread. You’re providing nothing new. Sorry to burst your bubble.
  8. That interview was released on April 14 so how exactly do you think that addresses a leak from today? “But continue to believe every thing the Media tells you.” Can’t make this poo up.
  9. https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/36253230/nick-nurse-raptors-coach-sources-say Are we really gonna go with Steve Clifford for another season? There’s some quality coaches available, just praying this org gets off its ass.
  10. Yeah but you know what, so did Will Smith in Men In Black and we all know how that turned out.
  11. It could matter, depends on the test. When I was in school I took some tests for a study by some grad students. They were trying to test recall. I performed well partially because I knew some tricks. Like one of the portions of the test was recalling sequences of numbers. I knew that chunking the numbers helps with recall, so instead of trying to remember 1, 5, 8, 3, 6, 2 or whatever it was, I would remember 2 numbers: 158 and 362. And that’s something you learn from psych/cog 101 level classes. Either way, I doubt it would account for as much of a difference as is being reported here.
  12. It may be one of those things that really only means a lot if you score REALLY low, kind of like the wonderlic. If you’re above a certain threshold maybe you’re just splitting hairs.
  13. Thundercat is great…but Motley Crue and Fall Out Boy? Oof.
  14. Oh yeah, he likes him as an overall prospect, I just wasn’t sure where he fit into our current needs at the position.
  15. I recently watched ThatFranchiseGuy’s t10 LB breakdown video on YouTube and I’d highly recommend it. I thought I liked Daiyan Henley for us before, but I’m not so sure after watching that video. I still like Drew Sanders and Trenton Simpson for us as potential 3-4 OLBs, but not sure if either will be available for our 2nd rd pick. I like Dorian Williams possibly at our 3rd rd pick, and Ivan Pace maybe in the 5th. I don’t think we have 6th and 7th rd picks right?
  16. @PanthersGOATFan336 just yesterday in the last anti Bryce Young thread you created: ”I rest my case see yall April 27th.” What happened?
  17. And nobody is making you create it. Just lol at making this stupid click bait thread title then clutching your pearls when it gets pointed out.
  18. Lol, we all know what you’re getting at come on don’t be ridiculous. My contribution is that you are asking dumb questions to try to make a point about the only Heisman winning QB being debated for the #1 pick right now. Sorry you don’t like my contribution. Feel free to stop making dumb threads with dumb titles and thinly veiled agendas.
  19. You didn’t answer my question. Who said being a Heisman QB guarantees success in the pros? If you can’t handle being called out for your constant stream of anti Bryce Young threads, stop making them…
  20. What a strange question to ask. Who would ever say that being a Heisman QB guarantees success in the pros? Didn’t you say in your last thread that you were done until draft day or something along those lines? We get it, you don’t like Young…
  21. Yeah I’m sure all of our coaches, scouts, and personnel people whose jobs, reputations, and in some cases careers are on the line, are just ignoring all of the concerns. I’m sure all these people who spent their whole lives in football and have access to more film than you, more information than you, more data than you, are just missing what you’re seeing.
