Am I the only one who thinks it doesn’t really sound like Bryce Young at all? Everything is so generic and could describe so many QBs. The things that aren’t generic: 3 year starter, rarely played against a top defense, did not play in a pro-style offense. They don’t describe Bryce Young at all. I think you had a specific narrative you wanted to sell and you just went and searched for someone who you thought could sell it no matter how flimsy the comparison. I think the problem you’re having is that the QBs strengths and weaknesses have already been debated ad nauseum here and most everybody is at the point of just following the bread crumbs and looking at who the pick actually is. Except you. In short:

I definitely do lol.

This could be a fun little scavenger hunt for people to find the context.

I will say this for what it is worth I don’t know if he got a perma ban or not and I tried to pm it to him but I can’t find our pms anymore but maybe he is still reading this. The inclusion of calling him coward was wrong on my end. I felt it was cowardly of him to constantly be pooing my posts and not even quoting and disagreeing, but I should have just said “You got something to say, say it.” and left it at that.

I don’t usually just poo posts for no reason actually. Usually I will just disagree with somebody verbally and if I don’t feel like doing that I just move on without pooing. In MOST cases. I didn’t poo op’s post, but you can see very clearly based on my response that I thought this was a dumb thread. Your posts earned it in this thread, but the likelihood is I would have just quoted you and disagreed with you if you weren’t going around pooing my posts for no reason. You got something to say, say it coward.

Fitterer, Morgan, and the Brass having pressers tomorrow?

I don’t think it’s THAT flexible. He’s pretty clearly saying to me that it would take a much higher than market value offer to move off the pick. It’s for sale the same way your house is for sale even though you don’t have it on the market and aren’t thinking about selling it. Yeah, if somebody knocked on your door and offered you $10m for your 2bd 2ba bungalow in Concord, you’d take it. That doesn’t mean you’re thinking of selling it, but there’s no reason to dissuade people from making you an offer you can’t refuse. -

Is it just me or does it just make sense? In the stands cheering at professional wrestling just seems like his natural habitat. -

What narrative? You gotta be kinda dumb to think that whole I’ll pick up the phone bit means anything. Just take a second and think I don’t even know what to say this is just so stupid. -

Lol it’s like if you asked me if I was going to drink a bottle of water I was holding, and I was like “Yeah, but if you want to offer me $1,000 for it it’s not like I’m saying no.” It’s just common sense, doesn’t mean I’m open to selling the water for it’s actual value, or even necessarily a little bit more than it’s value. -

Yeah I just didn’t find that especially relevant since it is his stance on literally every player and every draft pick always. You can quote his whole presser if you want idc. -

He also said they weren’t planning on trading out of #1 and they have conviction on a guy. Sounds like they are pretty much decided barring some catastrophic turn of events. -

Oh poo, sounds like they’re definitely going to be drafting at least a couple guys. -
OFFICIAL: Bryce Young cancels remaining team visits

I don’t know where the narrative comes from that he has to do some big wind up for down field throws. I’ve seen him pretty effortlessly throw a ball with relatively low trajectory 50 air yards. That’s plenty of arm strength. All I see with the stepping in complaint is you don’t like proper form for some reason. There’s plenty of guys with big arms that over rely on those arms and get in bad habits throwing off their back foot, or don’t develop the same level of touch that the more “average” armed QBs do. He’s got plenty of arm.
