  1. “….but NOT a season ending injury.” /narrator voice
  2. Oh absolutely. Collins was the QB on a team that made it to the NFC Championship game and made a pro bowl (after SEVERAL people dropped out and he just happened to be in hawaii on vacation.) He had his jaw broken in the preseason, really let his drinking get out of control, and had to get his life together before surfacing with the Giants and playing in a superbowl. Then Kerry hung around and was productive for another 10 years. So he could clearly play. And Collins taking time to deal with his demons isn't the reason the Panthers fell apart after 1997 - it contributed, but there was a lot going on. Everette Brown had no position in the NFL. He was drafted in part to give the team leverage in negotiations with Peppers. They overpaid for him and the pick became Mike Iupati. It created a huge hole in talent that would take years to dig out of, and I would argue they never did. Obviously that was during the height of Hurney setting draft picks on fire, but even just one more first rounder during that period sure would have been helpful 7 years later in the Super Bowl. Could not play, drafted for stupid reasons, final nail in the coffin of the Fox era, set the team back SUBSTANTIALLY, nearly led to Hurney trading the Cam newton pick for Jimmy Clausen (thank you Arizona).....i mean that pick had it all. If you want to go back a step further you say it was Jeff Otah, since that was the first "trading future first rounders" domino to fall. And also Jeff Otah may or may not have just decided he didn't want to play football anymore and fake some soft tissue injuries while collecting a paycheck. Which hey, I get it. But he could very clearly play when he was motivated, so i don't think he belongs here.
  3. whats a bust? just a player that doens't perform for any reason, or a player that doesn't have the skills to justify the pick or what was given up for him? Combination of lack of talent, cost to acquire the player, and downstream impact, it's Everette Brown and it's not close.

  5. Yeah the east response is that poise doesn’t put points on the board. Mary Antoinette looked poised walking up the steps.
  6. Shenault needs more touches. He’s the Luvu of the offense. bryce looks poised. Think he became over cautious after second pick. First pick was just a good play by the safety. burns and brown made the falcons offense one dimensional in the first quarter, and kept it up until the turnovers caught up with them. Even better, brown really stood out yesterday. They stopped running his way until the end of the game. And he LOOKS the part now too. When he was walking out of the tunnel he just looked bigger. that’s honestly about it. Those were two bad teams going at it; the falcons just realized they needed to run and did it.
  7. Burns and brown made them a one dimensional team until the turnovers caught up with them. need to pay him now.
  8. lmao at hayden hurst throwing the first TD into the stands
  9. more like bumped out of the way by literally any blocker
  10. wins and losses don't matter looking good and executing during the games matter. for the record, panthers are not currently doing this either.
  11. Not sure mays is going to give the job up.
  12. The real life v posting life conflict is real
  13. If a 16 game starter in 2022 is getting cut right now it means he’s getting suspended.
  14. One of my supervising physicians likes to draw with marker on patient pillows or sheets to help explain procedures. surgeons use these little purple markers to mark up skin for procedures, or put their initials on a limb so everyone knows “this is my surgery.” It’s very helpful for the patient and cool to watch and this guy is legit one of the best surgeons in the state. the other day he came to the ER to talk to a patient I’d just consulted on. This is a young guy who broke the poo out of his wrist. And he’s drawing out the radius/ulna and it’s just not his best work and it looks exactly like a dick. shaft, veins, head, everything looks like a dick. And he keeps going about all the things he’s going to do to it. and me and the patient (he’s numb at this point) look at each other and are both clearly thinking the same thing and neither of us can keep a straight face. So this surgeon is talking about the ORIF he’s going to do and me and the patient are both laughing our asses off. I had to explain it to him later and since he’s a surgeon he didn’t get it or find it funny.
  15. tons of rae carruth memorabilia from secret santas at another forum
  16. Rotoworld (I’m never calling it sportsEDGE) is primarily a fantasy sports analysis site and they’re just basing this off Mike Kaye. but still it’s may and you know you’re starving for content Panthers beat writer Mike Kaye believes Terrace Marshall is "on the cusp of a breakout campaign." After a down rookie season in 2021, Marshall would post a 28-490-1 line in his second season while averaging 17.5 YPR. The former second-round pick is expected to compete for a starting role with rookie Jonathan Mingo this offseason. Still, Kaye believes Marshall will ultimately "out-snap and out-produce his rookie counterpart" this season. Under a new head coach in Frank Reich, and with Bryce Young now under center, Marshall could have some sneaky upside in fantasy. He's currently going in the the final rounds of fantasy football drafts
